I just started my second round of Insanity. Today is my first rest day. My legs are SORE as hell. Favorite - Core and Cardio Balance. and sometimes Pure Cardio (i like that it goes all the way through, 1 min per exercise instead of repeating circuits) Least fave: anything Plyo!

Awesome, so my only confusion is HOW low or high should i go? Right now I'm eating 1700 (tdee minus 20%), so should i eat that most days and eat more on days i do strength training? or should i go lower than this? I am scared to eat lesss than that while doing Insanity. What days should I eat less on?

Is it only effective while weight training? I'm currently doing Insanity with some strength training on the side a few times a week. Is this okay?

oh boy i used to drink soy mochas once or twice a day and two years ago i discovered salted caramel mochas. i was hooked. now i drink soy mistos, iced coffee with soy, and recently skinny soy peppermint mocha (only 100 cal for tall)

is the green tea caffeinated? I think caffeine can cause dehydration, no? I remember hearing if you drink coffee or caffeinated tea that it takes awayfrom the water you are drinking and need to drink twice as much because it can dehydrate you. I could be wrong, but maybe stop drinking tea for a little while and see how you…

maybe try to plan to cook 1-2 big meals a week that way you dont need to cook a full dinner every single night? Gives you more time and then you can just heat up dinner :)

I'm kind of in the same boat, how do you suggest to find a training partner when you dont really know anyone with the same goals as you?

I'm also kind of in the same position. I reached a pretty low/average weight for my height , i have seen my stomach going down since i did insanity. and now i want to start lifting weights but i am nervous about going to the gym without knowing what im doing. going to hire a trainer in the new year!

same. i used to be really restrictive, also because i have minor food allergies. but i cut out processed foods almost 100% a few months ago and i am now starting to eat healthy 80-90% of the time and then ill treat myself to something. i couldnt eat chips/soda/burgers everyday though i would go overboard.

not sure what id call it, im basically in the same boat. i've lost 26lbs and i have slacked a bit in my eating and not exercising 5-6 days a week (more like 3-4ish). i track my food religiously during the week and eat pretty well, but weekends are a disaster. im hoping after the holidays to get back on track 99%. right now…

i for the most part workout alone, sometimes my bf will workout with me at home doing insanity. i would like to start a lifting program in Jan and I wish i had someone to do it with me!
