I went back on the pill to treat my PCOS, and then got unexpectedly divorced, so divorce diet + birth control pills = weight loss. lol
-
I started at 227, the highest I had ever been! I weighed more than I did when I was 42 weeks pregnant! I've lost 28 lbs so far, hoping for more.

bump. I'm sure SOMEONE has an opinion ;)

I'd be thrilled to get pregnant, but I'm not actively trying just no longer preventing :) I had 6 small cyst, too small to measure even. *sigh*

I'm still new with the PCOS diagnosis and my case is so annoying. My only symptoms is no period and some cysts on my ovaries (not the 'string of pearls') and I'm not insulin resistant. All I can do is lose weight, which happens pretty easily for me, thank goodness. PCOS is a beast.

I really appreciate all the responses! I have to remind myself everyone is in the gym because they're working on their bodies too.

I'm going to sign up with a personal trainer, just need to check out my budget. I'm open to all machines, free weights, etc I just get all shy and clamed up when it comes time to use them without looking like a dork.

There is, but when I'm going it's peak hours and they're short staffed! I'm always told "come back around 10 tomorrow?" but I can't! I'm going to look up that app, is it for iphone or android ( I have a droid)

I was recently diagnosed as well, my head is still spinning. My only symptoms where being fat, not having a period. I'm 1000 mg metformin (even though I'm not insulin resistant) and I'm working out, a lot. I'm still really sad about it, but 5-7% weight loss will make a big difference in my body.

I have to say, I'm totally in love with spark....it's replaced my morning coffee!
-
Yep, main reason why weight watchers didn't work out for me!
-
I'm NOT insulin resistant! WOHOO

I'm not a fitspo or a thinspo...but a curvespo/body positive http://curvesporation.tumblr.com/

I'd just find a no contract gym, there are a lot out there. p90x requires a lot of tools to do it correctly, insanity isn't for someone who is super out of shape. I just want to punch jillian michaels in the face every time I hear her or see her.. so...the gym it is for me!

I'm completely annoyed with this diagnosis, I was given metfomin, without the doctor ever telling me if I was or was not insulin resistant! I don't even have the traditional symptoms. I'm going to see another doctor on Monday to get a better idea for what exactly I have going on with me. I think I'm going to make changes…

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, my head is still spinning and I'm in the search for a different doctor. I was given 500 mg metformin once a day since I'm hoping to get pregnant. My goal is to lose 5-7% of my weight sooner than later.

Hormonal changes happen from losing weight as well. Hope it clears up soon, adult acne sucks!

Still waiting, I still look like an empty tube sock *sigh*

Such a compliment! I still feel 19! I'm 24!

I'm on WW and MFP, I like both of them, I won't continue WW after my 4 months though.

Okay good, that's what I thought I could do (and correctly) lol, thank you again! Congratulations on your WL! Great job!

Does anyone have an recommendations for something that could replace a meal? I'm getting back into working out, but I'm not a big fan of breakfast, I've been using a protein shake for breakfast and that helps keep me full and on track until lunch.
-
I'm on that site right now! I love this site :) and that site too haha :)

Thanks so much!
