i have been adding it my regular work out schedule ( i am a triathlete: I teach 3 spin classes per week, cycle 40 to 50 road miles on sundays, and run a 5 to 10 k once or twice per week--swimming training is on hold during winter) I am 21 days into the 30 day shred so far thismonth...and love/hate it. it really is a great…

wear a heart rate monitor and it will tell you how many calories you burn while you lift then use the cardio section to log in the cals (adjust minutes as needed to track the actual calories). just make sure you have an accurate heart rate monitor. my polar FT4 is much more accurte than my old timex one.

bump (so i can find it later)

the battery must be dying on that monitor! doing gentle yoga you burn 69 calories in 20 minutes! seriously!!! i think you had to have burned way more than that. log in the minutes under teh MFP calorie calculator--like under "calisthenics at home."
-
yes the polars can give you info on different interevals just read up on the models on the polar page. the timex is fine but the calories are exagerated...they dont ask for your gender and i think they calculate them based on a man's metabolism. polar was much more accurate. this one has multiple zone measurement…
