  • I've never tried the whole wheat ones but the regular ones are really. As far as calories go, I don't think they are too bad. I can't vouch for the other contents (such as fat, sodium, etc.) in them. I think they would be perfect for an on the go kind of morning, maybe with a banana (depending on your caloric intake).
  • That seems like a lot of calories.. not to mention sodium. I'm sure its delicious though! I get the grilled chicken breast on wheat with mustard (sometimes spicy, sometimes regular), all the veggies except bell peppers, and provolone cheese. I'm also in love with the fact that they carry the Lay's Light chips now. 75…
  • I'm originally from SF, now residing in 650 ;)
  • ..get over the fact that it is really bothering me that nobody has commented on my weight loss. I've lost about 22 lbs thus far, but only two people have made comments about me looking different. Of course I know its harder for people who are around you all the time to tell, but people I haven't seen for weeks don't even…
  • http://www.sushifaq.com/sushi-calories.htm be careful for mayo hidden in rolls!
  • The chicken was about 5-6 oz., the sour cream was probably about 2-3 tablespoons, the guac was probably 3-4 tablespoons, beans weren't refried (jt regular whole black beans), the rice was probably between 1-1.5 cups and the tortilla was large wheat burrito size. Thanks for your help!
  • I'm wondering if some of you lovely people can help me. We order mexican food for dinner tonight, and I stuck with a burrito. The place we ordered from is a little mom and pop shop and is super fresh with their ingredients. I tried to match up the items in the burrito and got around 1,500 calories for the burrito. I'm…
  • I'm going to Vegas at the end of this month for my best friends birthday. This is super exciting for me for a couple reasons. One, I've never really been on a vacation (with the exception of New Mexico when I was 7 and Disneyland when I was 10). Both my parents had busy work schedules when I was young, and now that I'm…
  • Olive Garden now has its nutritional information on its own website too ;)
  • I would but I do that all the other times. I practically live at Subway now for lunch, but there is no comparison to a big ol' deli sandwich. Also, the reason for my craving is because it's the kind of sandwich I would normally get like 2-3 times a month on weekends. And that dutch crunch roll.. oh man.. don't get me…
  • I watched a friend of my eat a deli sandwich today that consisted of roast beef, American cheese, mustard, veggies all smothered on a wonderful dutch crunch roll (the key to my heart, for sure). I am super duper craving one right now but don't know if I should even bother. I have about 1,100 calories left for the…
  • I'm thinking about changing my fitness goals here on MFP. If I change them to 1.5 pounds/week (currently 1 lbs/week), my calorie count that was 2170 will go to about 1810. I'm almost positive that I will be able to do that with no problem, but is it too soon? I started my journey almost a month ago. The last time I weighed…

  • A-freakin-MEN! I have had the same struggle, especially yesterday. Did wonderfully on my calories but went negative in my sugar by 77! ARGH! I see that you and me have similar goals, I'm going to friend you!
  • Ok so I have what is probably the LARGEST sweet tooth ever (I'm so serious). I normally find it hard to stay within my allowed sugar, but when I do go over its only by a few grams. Today, however, I went over by 77! Breakfast was just cereal. My lunch of mandarin chicken had a lot of sugar (duh!). Dinner was 'normal', but…
  • you have to pay attention to the power. a lot of them say 50% power at 8 minutes or what have you. if you cooked them for 4 minutes on full power, it would be the same thing but you risk the chance of it not tasting as good, etc.
  • I second the chili. You can eve bake a small/medium size potato and put the chili over it. Also, there are some soups out there that are pretty good in calories for the amount you get. Safeway (don't know if you have one around) has a bunch of "Signature Cafe" soups that are good. The chunky chicken soup is only 150…
  • ok, thank you ;)
  • yes, i ate 1700 or there abouts. I normally, without a workout, get 2,170 calories a day.
  • I have a bunch of extra calories today (1,109 to be exact), and I'm unsure if I should eat them or not. I'm not too hungry but I could eat a little something more. I slept in uber much this morning which pushed breakfast & lunch together and I worked out this afternoon, giving me an extra 600 calories. Would should I do?…
