That is just the greatest feeling in the world. I had one in Old Navy too! I never went in there because I thought they wouldn't have anything to fit me. So when I ventured in there a couple of months ago and tried on a XL - I bought it! You just can't tell me if that isn't the most wonderful little dress in my closet even…

We have 4 football player size sons (all living on their own now) that love to go to any buffet and they tear it up! I plan to utilize three plates. The first plate is totally devoted to salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrots, some beets, a couple of chick peas) basically all rabbit food - nothing with mayo. If I have…

I started this morning at 6:00 am after walking the dog. It was brutal and I really feel it in my thighs. I only made it through 13 minutes or so. I'm starting Zumba tomorrow morning and typically do 4 days a week in the gym, walk the dog and work 5 days a week so I'm going to have to work up a work out schedule. I'm…

I see the difference. Use the measurement tool to keep track. It really works for me.

I walked in the door from work the other day and my SO very politely asked me to go into the kitchen. He followed me in there and then asked me to stand beside the trash can. He then asked me to take off my pants :blushing: and to put them in the trash. Like you, I said I can't afford to keep buying clothes. He then showed…

Just used it for the first time last week. I did 20 minutes, was soaking wet through and through. I got back on it Saturday and managed 20 minutes and was soaking wet again. The gym trainer said it would do wonders for burning fat as opposed to the treadmill. I am showing a 3 pound loss for the week.

GREAT Question! Today I will have my first session with a trainer. My thought was just to work with her to get a routine with a goal of tightening up my saggy stomach and some cardio. I have been doing an hour's worth of strength training three to four times a week in the gym and thirty minutes of cardio. Now I have a…

  I don't care if the site never had another feature. It is really helping me as well as my wallet!

Beautiful dress and you look great! Congratulations!!! You give me hope for the one I have had hanging in the closet for the past 2 years!

I am so glad somebody finally talked about this! :ohwell: I was hoping to get some relief from my 40HH, but I guess I'll just do the chest exercises and be happy for a smaller band size. If I lose a cup or two that will be a plus.

Congratulations on saying no! Everytime I say no to food I count it as a victory. Sometimes its a battle all day long but as time goes on it does get easier.

I had already joined MFP and then restarted MFP. Last night I decided to take my "Before" pictures that I would post once I lost 50 pounds. They are awful - I didn't really have any idea of how bad I looked. I had a real wake up call!

I belong to Golds and I love it. I have done a couple of classes. Like you I felt reluctant because I didn't think I could do the routines because I am so big and don't have the right clothes and people might laugh at me, etc..... I finally came to realize the if I didn't go and try I would never will be able to do the…

You are sooooooo inspiring! Great job!

I second this response! My team is having steak and cheese subs with french fries right now versus my salad and fruit mix. I just remember when I am strolling down the beach wearing my swim gear this summer they are going to be strolling in flab with full coverup gear.

WOW! and WOW! You are gorgeous! This is great motivation for me!

I think this is a great topic too!:smooched: October 2012: I see myself driving down the Southern California coastline with my handsome Marine SO; stopping along the way to test the water and not being ashamed of my body in a bathing suit.

In a 18-20; want to be a 14; a 12 would be icing on my cake!

I remember my thirties as being one of the most stressful times of my life. I was in the middle of a divorce (out of a 14 year relationship with my college sweetheart that I just knew would be with me til "death do us part") with two young children, my daughter had several asthma attacks, I had asthma attacks, I was almost…

The important thing is getting back on track after falling off the grid! :flowerforyou: I am restarting too after a four month drop! Today was my first day back at the gym. I only did 40 minutes on the treadmill but I feel tired but great! I've given up sodas all together and been amazed by the positive effect water has on…

Today is the second day of my restart! I had a couple of deaths in my immediate family since November that threw me for a loop and into a slump. I gained back everything I had originally lost and then some  but I am back on target and feeling good about my efforts. I remember telling others that when you fall down you…

I am trying to get under 200 as well, trying to manage asthma and respiratory problems through diet and exercise and love desserts and to snack late at night. I agree that this is a wonderful site with a lot of wonderful people. I have found great recipes and even added a couple. Last night I made Curried Chicken Breast.…
