I spent most of the day at home in front of my computer writing cover letters and searching for jobs...making me want to snack. On the other hand I have a lot of time to work out and prepare good foods! Like others I can devote a lot of my time to…

you need mountains and hills to snowboard, ski, and go sledding down! that makes snow worthwhile! i find it hilarious that everyone's getting intense snow, but here in Canada (well in the Greater Toronto Area) the snow hasn't been so bad!
-
i make quiches all the time, the old fashioned way of course! i'm definitely going to give this a try even though the shell is my favourite part! but quiche without pie shell = frittata no?

Hey i'm in, i'm also in the other V-day group, but no harm in joining this one too! I'm 27, when I joined MFP at the end of November, I weighed about 167. Currently I weigh 160, but i've had a rough weekend full of birthdays and holiday gatherings and gluttony, so we'll see how the weigh-in goes tomorrow. I'm hoping to…

so not looking forward to the weigh-in tomorrow, had a rough weekend for eating and it's not even done! i might still be in the 160s :\

Some of these replies remind me of that Sex and the City episode when Miranda becomes addicted to chocolate, makes a chocolate cake and eats nearly all of it, throws it in the trash then eats a piece from the trash in desperation! Lol In all honesty though i would just bring it at the gym, there's no way I'd be able to eat…

i'm in week three and i've only done the recovery workout once and haven't taken a rest day. worst idea ever! needless to say i have to take more breaks during each exercise, i'm hurty, exhausted, and i have no energy. i can't wait until sunday rest day!!!!!!!!

i'm currently finishing week 3 of Insanity. I'm gonna be honest, I was really unfit going into it as I hadn't worked out in about 8 months prior to starting. Last September I participated in a Kinesiology study at my University where I had to work out every day and eat according to the study plans, so I had gained 10 lbs…

how do you do that? do you need a special program to be able to do that?

I haven't really considered new year's resolutions yet but here's some hopes for 2011: 1) quit smoking for good. yes, it's on and off right now. 2) talk to and visit my family more, especially my mom <3 3) train for and run a 5K when my best friend returns from South Korea 4) reach my goal weight of 130lbs by the end of…

I want to play too! I would love to lose 15 pounds by Valentine's day. I've already lost 7 since I joined MFP and I have 30 to go by the end of April or May, i'm pretty flexible. A little about me: 27 years old, recently graduated, currently unemployed, looking for my career as a registered social worker. My weigh-ins are…
