Yes this is a legit question! I have often wondered the same thing.

Wow, that is like a lightbulb for me!

Wow congratulations! I think your time was great! Especially since this is your first one! Also, I agree with what others have said, running outdoors is definately more challenging than running on a treadmill. Be careful, you may find that you LOVE running outdoors and your treadmill won't get used much anymore. :-)

Ha this is great! And yes, I saw it this weekend. It's a fun time, regardless of the stupid plot and horrible acting.

I think this is plausible...or maybe he wants to make sure there are no other men around the reap said benefits.

Love this thread! I recently broke down and was crying at my friend because I run so slow! But she told me the thing about lapping people on the couch. And seeing that it really doesn't matter how fast we go, it matters that we are doing it, really makes me feel 100% better! BTW I often times think that I could walk…

I'm at work because I own a small business and work from home. We are supposed to go camping this weekend, but it looks like work is going to take precedence over that, I'm so bummed! Oh well, making money is good too.

Hmmmmm I never thought of doing this, but I think I am going to give it a try. I also set a timer and get up and do jumping jacks or jog in place every hour for a few minutes. It helps to get my circulation moving.

I agree with those have said offer her gum, or mints, or a tic-tac. If her momma taught her well, she won't refuse. (My mom always said, if anyone offers your a mint or gum, NEVER refuse).

Congratulations on your weightloss! You look fantastic!

I was just like you, I'd exercise for a week, then quit for 3. I kept with this pattern until I read a book and it explained that it takes 21 days to form a habit. So I set a goal of being consistent with exercise for 21 days....and haven't looked back since. So give yourself 21 days, within those 21 days, workout at least…

I have given up so much, there is NO WAY that I am giving up my coffee...I drink it with with just cream though. Sometimes I will get flavored creamer, but mostly Coffeemate is all I use.

If it's low in points, it's good for me. (Weight Watchers).

Girl, you have lost 70 lbs! That is AWESOME and you look AMAZING! You need to realize that those BMI numbers are a guideline, and in no way should cause you to cry. Think about how far you have come, how healthy you feel NOW as compared to when you began. You ARE sexy, and HEALTHY. And you are also an inspiration to all of…

I have had to take a week off here and there for illness, over the last 8 months or so. Currently I am taking a week off because I hurt my back. And although it is scary and your first reaction is to paninc and feel guilty about not working out, let it go. You WILL get back to the exercise, and your body will respond…

I say go for it! It will always grow back if you don't like it.

I think your friend needs to listen to you. A second opinion is definately needed, and if it means driving a little ways, then so be it. Get a cat carrier...the cat will be FINE.

Bump! These all sound great!

For low impact but good intensity, try Jeanette Jenkins Kickbox Bootcamp or her 21 day Hollywood Makeover...it's a book that comes with a great workout DVD. Very little jumping in the Kickboxing, no jumping in the other one.…
