I am trying to get thru this challenge I have been doing. I have no problem with the leg lifts, but I am up to 34 push-ups, which I find difficult and 230 squats which is flat out tiring.

Kudos Beverly! You are on your way, good for you!

I am 64 with random thoughts of retiring, which I don't think will be an issue. Not enough time in the day now. I will more than likely work a few more years and then move closer to my children, in order to spoil the grandboo. I am doing mk2loser's challenge, btw.

That is a great story and epic NSV.

Been there, done that. Take a step back and a deep breath and let it go. Unless it was life threatening, it is not worth the anguish. A little chocolate would be ok

Interesting article, but there is no way in hell I am going to eat that much protein. It is much too taxing on the kidneys. I know it is the trend to eat a lot of protein, but for a while low fat was the hero and has turned out to be crap. Eggs used to be bad. I will definitely do weights and cardio, but for me, it cannot…

Indeed, constant vigilance is a must, no matter how tiresome!

Nothing like the grand boos

I did Lulu. At my heaviest I was as much as an 8-1/2' now I wear 7-1/2. New shoes, yay!

I have been married 45 years. If anything happened to that I would be ok being single. Don't think I could manage another human being after training the present one so well, lol. On the other note, I don't feel old and I don't think I look old. In fact, I prefer young people, most old people annoy me, talking about their…

That is one of the best nsvs. I used to hate shopping because I didn't want to see myself in that dressing room mirror. Don't mind it so much now. Congratulations on great progress.

I like Hilary Clinton. Trump reminds me of Hitler. It disturbs me that the future of our country is the butt of jokes. I don't care what Bill Clinton did, doesn't affect anything right now.

Adorable guys! I have 4 adult children and only one grandboo. Don't know what is wrong with them, lol
-
That is hysterical! Doesn't that make you a cow whisperer?
-
Lulu, I agree completely. Hope you got some good rest, too. Wayne, it would be lovely if you get positive info from your test.

My achievement today has to do with mental, not physical health. My sister with dementia was in a horrible "home". I had no official power to change it. However thru perseverance and being just a plain PIA, I found a new nice place and succeeded in getting her to that place today. She is much happier and I am very relieved.

My goodness we are touchy old people. I do the best I can with cloth bags and recycling, etc, but we needn't sell the young people short. Some are *kitten* just like there were in our generation and the one before. Are we supposed to stop using the Internet? My children are very conscientious about using sustainable assets…

Well. I am glad you are back! Some people have no sense of humor.

Bravo!

Welcome, Cheryl! Very nice group here in various stages of the "journey" congrats on your success so far.

Good for you! Feels great!

Agreed. Seeing my mom in a scooter for a decade got me going. If it weren't for outside whacks up the side of the head, I would probably still be a couch potato. We do tend to think we are invincible until our body tells us differently.

Holidays are always hard.

I don't like the kitten substitute, it just doesn't do the job and belittles kittens everywhere.
-
Welcome Jean! Great group here. You are a biking inspiration for me!

People love "drama". I don't get it myself. Live and let live.

I don't agree with the poor manners/threats/etc. nor apparently have I seen a photo of what she was actually wearing. I have three daughters of various "sizes". They can wear the same brand/type of tops and one of then no matter what she does, she shows cleavage. People really need to get over the fact that women have…
