I weigh daily, but I only record gains if they stay for more than 3-4 days in a row. Some may be discouraged by weighing too often, I think it's kind of a game. I use body fortress from Walmart @ about $15 a jug its very cost effective. If you blend it and add some ice, almond or coconut milk + PB2 you get an awesome Reeses style shake thats around 250 calories for 19 carbs / 35 protein.

You might be surprised at how many caories most of us take in when we're not tracking things... When I began, my BMR was ~ 2600.-2800.. BMI is a terrible tool... It doesnt account for muscle differences very well... Once I hit my goal weight I'll be 10-15% Body fat but will be obese according to BMI... Try measuring yourself via bodyfat instead and see what that looks like. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/mbf/

A lot of the DB is user submitted and most dieters aren't paying attention to nutrients they're just looking at calories and maybe fat/carb/protein.
