  • Petsmart is sending out emails about how to be a good jackalope parent. :)
  • More leftovers, same as the last except more rice and veggies.
  • Today's bento (in my new bento box!): Layer one: jasmine rice with Thai spicy peanut veggies Layer two: kiwi, Thai veggie goyza, and teriyaki pork loin Nomnom!
  • We have wraps today at work so I just packed a salad to go with it. The box contains salad, carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, and two cherry peppers. I'm going to grab a hard boiled egg from the cafeteria to go on top as well. Yum yum
  • Today's bento: Bottom layer: Salad, tomato, carrot curls, mushroom, with dill garlic dressing and bacon (also have a hard boiled egg to add) Top layer: chicken breast with blueberries and raspberries
  • My bento today is a clone of yesterday (need to get groceries soon!) except I brought my stacking bottle bento with either raspberries or dark chocolate peanut butter cups in the sections. I don't always have a use for that box but when I do it is awesome! (it's like this one except a cute pikachu and…
  • Thank you! That combo was really good!
  • Today's box (hot leftovers lunch): Lime pineapple chicken, green beans, fiesta corn, chipotle sauce, one peanut butter cup in the small green container and pineapple in another small box. Voilà, no bento box needed ;)
  • Of course you have something to add! Almost every box I make includes a salad plus whatever I have around in the top. No big deal. Join us!
  • Is that your maintenance before or after accounting for the HIIT that you added? I only ask because if you add more/harder cardio it raises your maintenance calories proportionally and what was a surplus can turn into a deficit. My plan after eating at maintenance is continuing to each the same amount and bump up cardio to…
  • Boxes for the next two days (I find it easier to pack multiple) One is another gyro box and the other is leftover pork rib meat with BBQ sauce, pineapple, and the last of the corn beef with some smoked jack cheese in the bottom with the salad
  • I decided to track food at maintenance calories for about a month to make sure I'm really solid there before going into a cut (I was at my sister's house for the holidays and the meals were a bit erratic at times-poor thing forgets to eat all day). I'm lifting with total body work 3 days a week to make good use of the…
  • Here are my bentos for the next couple days: Gyro boxes Layer one: gyro meat, tzatziki, and raspberries Layer two: salad with olives, feta, peppers, artichoke heart, carrots, tomato, onion and vinaigrette I had a couple bentos over the weekend too but I didn't get pictures. One was BBQ beef with cherry yogurt and spicy…
  • Watch out for that tree! Anyone else know what movie that one came from or am I the only on feeling the nostalgia? :)
  • I can havarti believe it!
  • Today's bento (with cheese!): Bottom: Salad with tomatoes, carrots, mushroom, CHEESE, and some spicy pickles in the cup Top: Cherry pistachio greek yogurt, strawberries, and corned beef
  • You cheddar believe it!
  • Thank you! I wouldn't say "tasty". They don't taste like anything but they are a great source of fiber, omega 3s and thicken up my yogurt to super creamy levels (no escaping inside the box!). They are another option to flax seeds
  • Wow! Now I wish my boxes had more cheese in them. That would have been gouda  Bottom Layer: Cobb Salad (salad mix, carrot, tomato, mushroom, egg, and bacon) Top Layer: Strawberry and chia seed greek yogurt, corned beef, and raspberries
  • Here are my bentos for the next two days: Cobb salad in the bottom Hamburger with mushrooms, cherry vanilla greek yogurt and kiwis with strawberries in the top
  • I forgot to take a picture of my meal today as well. It was leftovers of meatloaf and zucchinis so not much to see anyway; It was in a box though! Have a great weekend all.
  • I agree with everyone else, it is no biggie. Take some food you like and put it in a box. You can fancy it up if you like or not. The point is to make your meal packing and eating time enjoyable and fun. If it feels like a stressful process, contemplate what is getting in the way of it being fun and eliminate that thing…
  • I have some little containers with lids for sauces. If something is thick enough it usually is okay in a silicon cup if you keep the box upright. Greek yogurt + chia seeds = that yogurt isn't going anywhere!
  • Happy anniversary bento friends! It has been a while but here are my bentos for this week. The first set are raspberry chia greek yogurt, kiwis and strawberries, chicken roll ups, mushrooms, carrots, tomato, arugula, and a coconut bite. The second set is mainly the same except for the banana peanut butter greek yogurt and…
  • People can add me if they want. I'm going off of maintenance just after New Years into bulk/cut cycles (cut first, there may be too many treats for the holiday methinks ;) ) I'm looking at 6 weeks in each for awhile.
  • I've got soup bento today for lunch; I'll see if it is worth a picture then :) Happy bentos all!
  • What kind of bread it that? It's a neat shape :) Thank you everyone who was concerned on my stolen purse; I appreciate it :) I have had a few bentos since I last posted, one since I got my replacement phone, but I haven't posted. Sad panda. I haven't been home much to cook or bento-ize my lunches though and have been…
  • No picture for me today since my purse was stolen, including phone, so I have no ability to take the picture. BUT I do have bento so what I packed was the following: Top layer: about 2 oz left over steak, colby jack cheese stick, red wine/bacon/onion green beans Bottom layer: spring mix with halved grapes and goat cheese,…
