I agree; I love how diverse our little group is! Still no bento for me since I'm on vacation until next Wednesday but all of your bentos look lovely!

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! I'm on vacation this week so I likely won't have a bento this week but I'm still here in spirit

Rice paper rolls from the local Vietnamese restaurant with peanut sauce. I think they are shrimp, veggie/tofu, spicy shrimp patty, and pork. Also a couple tiny spring rolls. I didn't make it to the store for veggies but I think it will be okay
-
Today's bento: Layer one: layered eggplant Layer two: spring mix salad with ham and romano cheese I also have some cherries and yogurt I really need to go to the grocery store; after house sitting this weekend i haven't restocked and am out of most veggies. :( @mangrothian I hope you feel 100% soon

Here is my Kinda Ugly Box (tm) for today  : Layer 1: Layered Eggplant Layer 2: Mango and strawberries, arugula/kale/ham PS I kinda hate cutting up mango
-
I didn't use them but it sounded like they get a bit too soft when they sit with moist ingredients over night. It's probably better to make your wrap in the morning.
-
Once again, this looks fantastic! My eyes are drooling. Also, where did you get this box? I want one so much.

I agree with @mangrothian ; it really doesn't need to take that much time. The box I made above took all of maybe ten minutes between pulling leftover's out of the fridge, putting them in the box, pulling out salad mix, a tomato and pickles, putting pickles in the little cup, cutting up the salad mix and tomato, and…

There's good news and bad news... The good news- the kitties are awesome, the owl box is awesome, the food is awesome The bad news- I tried to eat it through my screen but it didn't taste very good. Kinda like screen cleaner, dust and aluminum... ;)

BMI was designed to be a hard and fast measurement/comparison tool for working in situations when you have little more than simple measurements to go from (it's pretty easy to get someone's height, weight, age, and gender with very simple tools, even in the middle of nowhere and without electricity, etc). It was originally…

Challenge accepted! Layer one: Layered eggplant and sausage tardis landing Wizard of Oz style on some of The Silence Layer two: Salad of red pepper bowtie, carrot suspenders and red onions. Bowties are cool. ;p I miss eleven! Happy Thursday!

YES! I think we have a couple other Whovians on this thread too! I think I've seen a tardis cookie jar and a dalek in someone's pictures. Whovian bentos unite! Because bowties are cool.

Where did you get your cute little animal containers (the frog and chick today)? I think you have a couple other ones too that are so cute. I looked on Amazon for them and couldn't find them (that's how much I love them ;)

Looks great!

No bento for me today as I have the day off. Woot! So needed it after not having a break for 11 days. Enjoy your boxes friends :)

Decided to bring soup today so here is my modular bentoish lunch (which is apparently floating upside-down): Italian potato soup, salad with spring mix, tomato, ham and romano cheese, coffee yogurt. Served with ranch dressing I swipe from the cafeteria (it's cool, I work in food services ;) ).
-
I struggle with that as well. If I want to put more protein-rich food in my box I tend to crowd out veggies or fruit which makes me a rather sad panda. Today's box isn't bad but I've also been trying to put another protein on top of my salad. Once it gets cold I foresee salads disappearing and denser cooked/blanched…
