I am actually considering a vegan diet made up of a lot of raw foods. Check out the documentary "Forks over Knives". It is on Netflix instant right now, but is also available on DVD. It takes a look into the benefits of a whole foods, plant based diet. I personally think a lot of the health benefits of the raw diet come…

I know how you feel. I love, love, love food. It is a big part of my life and I am not willing to live the rest of my life without great food. What I have been doing is this: During the week, I eat a more restricted diet. My goal is 1200 calories (the minimum for me). Then, on the weekends, I bump that number up. I always…

Just keep an eye on them. You could lightly salt them, too. Now, they weren't as good as the fried kind, but they were pretty good and…

I think you are in a tricky situation. Personally, I think it would be wise to continue with loosing weight while trying to get pregnant. You can loose weight and it will not affect your ability to conceive (however, weighting too long could). Also, if you work with your doctor once you are pregnant, you can most likely…

Nothing wrong with a spoonful of peanut butter! Stick with the natural kind (none of the sugar and other junk) and help yourself to a spoonful with a glass of water. It has protein and fiber and keeps you full for a long time. Even though it is fairly high in calories and fat, go for the real deal and you will be…
