Greek yogurt!!! or a protein powder

Really? I tried once to cut fat down to <20% and struggled because I LOVE me some peanut butter! I have been following a 40-30-30 ratio because its the easiest for me to stick to. Where did you hear this? because I would love to read up on it and I would definitely be willing to attempt it again!

LOL!! wish it worked that way!

Okay, so maybe I am being ridiculous, I have just been working so hard and I am really happy with the changes I have made inside and out, I am just really self conscious about the little wrinkly part I can grab, makes me not want to wear a 2 piece even though I feel really confident in anything else I put on. Thanks for…

Okay.. heres a better example...

Maybe not the best pictures to show it.. but I can pull out atleast an inch of skin under my belly button where the stretch marks are. Its really soft and wrinkly and I hate it! It maybe not show up well in these pics.. sorry.. maybe I should have taken a pic of me pulling on it but that just sounded gross!

That sounds about right, maybe you need to give it longer than a week though. I dont think the 750 defecit is too big, and 1350 calories *should* be enough not to go into starvation mode, but depending on the intensity of your workouts (if your heavy lifting or doing HIIT) your body would need more calories.

Krazy Kookie Dough!!! Im pretty sure its seasonal, Im hoping it is other wise Im screwed!!! I cant get enough of that stuff!! ITs soooooo yummy!

MFP had me around 1700 but I put in that I was sedentary. I had a body assessment at the gym and my trainer told me I burn 2100. So she was pretty right! Also, apparantly I have a good amount of lean muscle mass, which is why I burn about 500 extra calories a day just digesting and processing food. MUSCLE = Constant fat…
-
Didnt see that you are NETTING 1250. Still, if you are still hungry add in 100-200 extra calories a day, or change your settings to Net 1400 instead.
-
You should definitely be eating a lot more! If you are working out that much, I would suggest eating between 1700-1800. Make sure they are good calories, if the only way to add 500 calories is with cookies you wont be doing yourself any good. Not only are you burning calories with your daily excercises, the more lean…

I need to step up my game I guess! I use dumbbells instead of the big bar because it felt super uncomfortable to me when I tried squatting with the bar. I use 2 30s for my squats and lunges but im sure I could add more. I would really like to figure out how to use the big bar without it hurting my shoulders. I do stiff…

Bananas!!!

I have 2 different flavors, Vanilla and fruit punch flavor. The vanilla I mix in with oatmeal, and the fruit punch I drink with water and sometimes add crystal lite. I have mixed the chocolate in with peanut butter and spread it on a banana or bread or graham crackers too! And its really yummy!

Listen to your body! I always have to run on an empty stomach or I crampy and/or headaches! 2 1/2 hours seems like long enough, I usually wait 3 hours after eating before running or I go first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Sounds like dinner to me!!! thanks for sharing!

I have some from pregnancy, and they were pretty bright reddish to begin with and now (2years after last baby) have faded so much so that in most pictures you cant even see them, but they are still there, and in certain light you can see them, but at first glance most people think I dont have them. They *should* fade. And…

Thank you!! I really had no clue where to start either! I started with Jillian Michaels 30day shred, and then after 15 days quit! But I used some of her moves that I liked. For my regular routine I do dips, pushups, plank poses, different moves with handweights to hit all the muscle groups, lunges, squats, (not all in one…

I was just thinking I would *Kill* for your abs!!! But that being said, we are our own worst critics!! I think you look amazing!!!!
-
I was just checking out your new pic!!! I can see a difference!! You look curvier, your waist is definitely a little smaller in the current pic! and your butt looks perkier!! Love the results! What have you been doing since the shred?

Get a Heart rate monitor of you want an accurate burn. For me my strength training usually takes 30minutes and I burn between 105-130 calories depending on intensity, and which muscles Im doing.
-
This is a very good point too! I have recently started running in intervals, and it is a necessity for me to be able to monitor my actual heart rate, so I spend the correct amount of time in the different zones
-
Personally, I LOVE mine. I have a sportline one actually, but its one with a chest strap, it is much more accurate and no pushing buttons or anything. The only reason I could really see as to why you *should* have one is if you are looking to burn X amount of calories a day. It is the most accurate way to tell how many you…

LOL! I got my oldest an ice cream cone the other day and he wanted me to lick off the excess that was melting cause he was eating it soo darn slow, and took more than a few licks before he had to ask for it back! :) And I am definitely guilty of licking the knife when making them pb&j, but I dont sweat it! If its just a…

Thanks for the responses! In the beginning I just focused on burning calories, now I actually want to build muscle and tone! I have no clue how to do that, and I figured that doing 100squats would eventually make a difference, but Im starting to realize that in order to see more of a change I need to add more weights. I am…
-
Yea, this would be my ideal way to do it, but we are limited on the weights we currently have, thinking we need to get those selecteck dumbell things!

Depends on a lot of factors, I am 5'7 and between 130-134pounds. When I go for 30 mins depending on my intesnsity I burn between 200-300. So in an hour I would burn between 400-600. ETA: also I second what everybody is saying, if you can get a HRM with a chest strap. It makes a huge difference, I am only burning about half…

I am not sure if there is a huge difference for women who have had c-sections, but I have had 3 vaginal deliveries and I am finally making some progress with my stomach. And my stomach looked pretty bad after each baby. My youngest will be 2 soon, but I really only started working out and taking care of myself this past…

Change things up!! Add more calories, or cycle them! and swicth up your work out routine. Your body has gotten used to what you are doing
-
Just what I was going to say! If you have been eating properly and drinking water properly, you probably are starting off too hard. Start at a slow easy pace, and work your way up!
