Try taking a daily acidophilus probiotic supplement. It helps to get your "good" bacteria back in check. Helps me a lot!

Thanks Joanna2012B! When I attempting running many years ago, I did run in the rain one time. It was rather refreshing. I may just try it! Thanks!

Just started walk/jogging last month. Tuesday I did 4.88 miles in 75 minutes. (Slow, I know) but get a little better each time. My next goal is a full 5 miles in 75 minutes, then to get quicker from there. I have a treadmill, but find that running outside keeps my mind occupied. Sucks that it is raining today! Guess…

Don't get my wrong, I'm far from the perfect eater, but do force myself to plug in EVERYTHING that I have to hold myself responsible.…

I do a lot better with snack type foods, but always keep chicken in the freezer to make meals, grilled chicken salads, soups, etc. Some of my favorite snack type foods are: Almonds Pistachios Yoplait Light Yogurt (for my sweet cravings, and only 100 calories) Light or reduced fat individual serving cheese snacks Baby…

I've heard of adding dry ranch dip mix and using greek yogurt instead of sour cream for veggie trays. Haven't tried it yet, but thought I would share.

Thanks Dan! I've studied the nutrition guide, and honestly, some of the meals are time consuming and expensive to prepare. Any low cost suggestions and quick meals/snacks that you could recommend? I'm also fearful of adding the in between meals/snacks now that I'm counting calories as well.

Awesome! Congrats to you! I'm just hoping to survive at this point! lol Thanks for the advice!
