Nice one everyone. I workout mainly outside as I am not a member of a gym so I dont think I need to worry about interference. Now i just have to go out and get one I guess!!!

Dont stress, it is right. even though the overall run is slightly shorter, the intervals are a bit longer and different. if gets your body used to running for longer intervals each week. I am on week 5 day 3, i am doing a 20 minute run tomorrow, first time to go for a run significant amount of time on teh programme in 1 go.

I work in a contact centre and I always walk to work and shower there. Is taht possible? Do you live close to work? I find thatjust stretching helps. you can do butt clenches, no one would really see you doing it.

il have fruit, yogurt, but i will have a bar pof chocolate too. Its not always great fod, but it seems to be working. if im working i will always bring a main thing for lunch liek pasta or rice, but cereal bars seem to work for me too.

Welcome. If you want a good get fit programme, I would try the couch to 5k programme. its over 9 weeks and build you up to eventually a 45 minute run at the end of week 9. The fisrt 7 to 8 weeks it comprises of 3 workouts a week, but iots a great workout for the body.

Just to add to what everyone else has said, it will get easier. I really struggled with week 1, but i did it. I would get Saucony. They are amazing. I used to get shin splints before because i never had the right trainers. But I have had them for 3 months and never had an issue, never even had a blister. and they are blue as well, which are funky!!!

I dont think there is any benefits to going over your protein, but going over your fat or sugar will slow down your progress.

Hi all, I have stopped myself eating after 8pm at night and I will only have a glass of water if im thirsty or hungry. its been working for me as i work shifts and used to have alot of crap when I would finish at 10pm. I am finding that i am sleeping better and have alot more energy the next day.
