There is usually a lot of sugar in the protein/energy bars.

You should receive at least an orientation at the gym to show you how to use the machines, etc. I would not hesitate to ask the gym personnel to help. You paid for a membership and deserve to get the most from it. :flowerforyou:

Sounds good and easy!!

I am south of Charlotte, NC near the South Carolina border and we love it here. Love the four seasons, the fact that it is just a few hours to the beach or the mountains! We moved from Indianapolis, Indiana. Best move I have ever made!

After the first time of wearing my chest strap, I don't even notice it when I wear it now.

If you have a smartphone, there is an app with a GPS you can use while running. http://runkeeper.com/running-app I bought a small Spibelt to keep my phone in. It really stretches to hold a few things while you are running. http://www.spibelt.com/ Then you could get a Polar F4 or F6 which is a really good HRM.
-
Go with the Polar. You will love it. I have the Polar F6.

I bought one a few months back, but I have to admit I have not used it yet. It came with several DVD's as well. I need to get my rear end up there and try it out. :blushing:

I have a Polar F6 and love it. You can find them on eBay sometimes. A lot of people have referenced the F4 as well. You may be able to find one at Target, ****'s Sporting Goods, etc.

Surely you can find 20 minutes in a day for yourself. You deserve it. There are many DVD's available or even YouTube videos with 20 minute exercise routines you could follow. Just do it! :flowerforyou:

Onederland!! Woot woot!!

I mix a little Philadelphia Cooking Creme into mine. They have several flavors and it is delicious. Doesn't take much.

You reached Onederland!! Congratulations!!

I am with you! I did Atkins several years ago and did lose 40 pounds, but knew I could not cut out pasta and bread forever. Counting calories works better for me. I can still try a little of anything I want in moderation.
