Absolutely ignore the stares and keep doing your workouts. Probably just jealous! Show then what you are made of and keep it up!

I agree with squishysangel, a nice pashmina would work wonderfully!

You look great! I have that top, but I don't look like that in it. LOL Keep up the good work!

I totally agree with Bonnie, MFP is great for tracking food and exercise. I did not do well on the points system. I like many of the recipes and tips, but the points system didn't do it for me. I like seeing all of the nutritional information on the database and how large the database is.

I agree with luv2ash. I really limit my fruits because I think it is a trigger for me. Bananas are killers! If I have 1 banana, I can't have much more than that in a day. I like to make fruit slushies with strawberries and they fulfill my need for sweets. ;-)

I don't have one, but I do know there is a monthly subscription for the service. That is why I decided against it. I decided a Polar HRM would work for me as it lets me know how many calories I have burned and at what percentage of my target heart rate I have achieved during the workout., It even downloads it to the…

I agree with you, Missy. I was coerced into a training program at my gym and cannot wait until it is over. Pricey and not fun! I thoroughly enjoy the group exercise - Zumba, Step, Sculpt, etc. You did the right thing.

Looks like a nice piece of equipment.

I love Zumba and do it just about every day at the gym. I also do Jillian's 30-Day Shred. Just do what you can and it gets easier. Start the DVD's and maybe switch them off every other day so it is not monotonous for you. You will see the difference in your clothes before you see it on the scale. ;-)

He should have a sleep study done. If he is snoring that badly, he is not getting a good night's sleep either as he is not getting to his REM sleep. Oftentimes, a sleep study will reveal that he stops breathing during the night too.

Isn't that a wonderful feeling? Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. LOL

Put it under "Circuit Training". I have only been doing it for 5 days now, so can't really tell you what it has done for me because I have also been going to the gym just about every day. Good luck!

I am 5'2" and starting weight June 2 was 188. Today it is 178.5. Ideally, I would love to weight around 135-140. Hoping I can get there. The older I get, the harder it gets. ;-(

Great post! Yes, you look like a younger version of yourself! Keep up the good work!

I have been doing Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred which includes rows, jumping jacks, and some ab exercises. So far, so good. I am more conscious about reading nutrition labels when I make my grocery purchases these days. It is really enlightening!

Level 1 - Day 5 completed with a calorie burn of 210 in 28 minutes. I use 5 lb. weights. I also did 56 minutes of Zumba this morning and an hour of Yogalates back to back. Still modifying the JJ's because my knees were starting to feel it when I actually did them a few days ago, but the bicycle crunches seemed easier…

Thank you, Carolinamomma! Where are you in Carolina? I am near Waxhaw (south of Charlotte).

change-happens, if your neck is sore you are using your neck to pull yourself up. When you do your sit-ups, keep your eyes on the ceiling and your fingers behind your ear so you are not inclined to pull yourself up with your neck. It really does help. Keep it up! We didn't get like this overnight, so the change will have…
