I heard that it was snowing in Denver this morning. I am from there but live in Kansas now. Hoping some of that snow heads east soon!

97 today - back under 100. We'll see if that holds. Having struggles right now with carb cravings!

So here is my new toy. In the end I went with the Mongoose Dolomite as a starter fat bike. I bought it from a friend who went to the trouble to convert the shifter from a grip shift to a trigger. I swapped out the pedals to bigger ones. He threw in a pair of Surly Rolling Darryl rims so for the money I spent I think I came…

113 today - coming back down.

That is an awesome moment for you! I did that last year when I lost enough weight to boot the 3X and 4X stuff out of my closet. I can't wait to do the same to all the 2X stuff.

Awesome! I know I had fasting blood sugar readings over 200 a few months ago, but through diet and exercise (and taking my meds more regularly) I am now always right around 100. I go later this week for blood work to see if I can wean off any medicines. Look up the Type 2 Diabetes Support Group in the Community section.…

I will send a friend request - I am 47 and have been dealing with Type 2 Diabetes for 7 years now. I'm a very active poster and will offer as much support as possible. It can get better. I need to lose weight as well and have been working on that too. MFP is a great tool and there are great groups with lots of support…

Sounds perfect for this time of year! I am going to add this to my list of new recipes to try in the next week or so!

I'm in! November goals: 1. Under 100 total carbs daily 2. Weight Training 2 times a week (joined a gym months ago and still can't seem to get in any weight training) 3. Biking over 100 miles during the month 4. Continue logging everyday (including Thanksgiving feast days). Starting weight (on 10/30) - 312.2

So glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read this!

89 today - and hoping no Halloween candy shows up here at work. I might have to go toss it in the trash when no one is looking. I'll be doing them, and me a huge favor!

I've already cut my Glyburide dose in half when I noticed my sugars staying consistently low. Hoping to 86 the Glyburide completely in the next month or so. That will put more motivation on me to stick with my eating and exercise plan.

Thankfully I do not take insulin, but I am on Metformin and Gluyburide. In the past I would get low blood sugar a lot on this combo, but as of late I have not had this problem, not even when riding longer distances. I mapped out a 32.5 mile ride and decided to do the ride yesterday. I experimented with stopping every hour…

Great advice and super fast! I am going to do some experimenting this weekend.

Oh mama that is sweet!

Oh Pecan Pie! Thanks to my wife I managed to avoid a nice home made slice last Saturday, but only because she intervened! I hope you get to feeling better @winnie141! 99 for me today. Now the real struggle begins - from today to January 2nd we are in the trenches fighting a battle people! Let's win this fight!
-
108 today - I could not say no to the freshly baked Blueberry Muffins last night. I should have waited to have one for breakfast instead.
-
Wowsers! Nice job - you look great! Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!
-
You are doing awesome!

^^^^^^ THIS! I actually hide mine in a part of the fridge no one else ever checks! Near all my other healthier food!

Nice number @winnie141! Yeah I think it's just that time of year. Back under 100 today with a 91. The 25 mile bike ride didn't hurt I'm sure!
