  • BIggest loser eat your heart out! Amazing work! L
  • And if once in awhile you are driving through your favorite fast food place and you want a 1/4 pounder with cheese or the like... go for it. ONCE IN A WHILE. Just the burger, not the fries, and order unsweet tea or water. Eat really well the rest of the day, and you should have no problem with your calorie total. I think…
  • you know while I was out doing C25K W2D3, I was wondering what the amount of weight I lost would look like. Seriously! I was! L
  • A friend of mine has a TRX set up that uses your own body weight and he loves it. I tried it out and i like it too. The problem is that its kinda pricey. I keep waiting for one to show up at a Play it Again Sports, but so far no luck. L
  • Without seeing your food diary, its hard to say, but watch your portions. You can have too much of a good thing
  • Make sure your computer or you are logging you out. I noticed on my husband's laptop, I never had to sign in, but on mine I do. Make sure your are physically logging yourself in at least once a day. I have been at this over a 100 days, but I just figured out the log in thing about 25 days ago. L
  • A.Maze.ing!! You look incredible.
  • I interpret it as "Oh! Your Fat" but every now and then I get a "Great!" My 9-year-old asks why my Wii is fat... oy.
  • Awesome for you! I seem to be stuck in week 2, but moving along.
  • Where was that picture when all my friends were saying I wasn't fat I was "rubenesque"?
  • I agree, its about the portions. I always halve what I get on my plate at the restaurant. And most times, I don't bring home the rest. If it isn't in my fridge, I can't eat it train of thought working there. The other thing I would tell you is to cut yourself a little slack. If there is something on the menu that you want…
  • Sounds like you are doing good things with your diet. I understand the low energy, but find something to do. Maybe take a walk around the block, take a dance class or try a sport you were always curious about. A couple of years ago, my son challenged me to try fencing. Let me tell you.. playing with swords is a lot of fun…
  • Think if I stretch it enough I can workout through it?
  • This is my thought, try to follow me here. You do need a minimum of 1200 calories a day. Of course, you lost weight eating less, but in reality, where those pounds that would have stayed off when you resumed a normal calorie intake, assuming you weren't going to eat like that the rest of your life? I think what you are…
  • I pack Jake a sandwich (PBJ, turkey and cheese, ham and cheese on light wheat) and then put in a bag of baked chips and fruit. For the fruit I use fresh if it packs easy or I break down a can of fruit in light syrup in a small Glad container. He's 9 and so far it has usually been more than he can eat, but what he doesn't…
  • just get ready to smirk when they get tired of chicken and veggies, scarf down steak and potatoes, and gain all the weight back.
  • Just so you know, I've made good progress and I still have a glass of wine most evenings and a few nights may have 2 ;) Make smart choices, exercise when you can, and make changes you can live with! Good luck. L
  • We have gyms here in Jacksonville that are just $10, not contract. You don't come to workout for a month, you don't pay. Also, my son gave me a Wii Fit Plus for Mother's Day. He got it from GameSpot for $99. SO, it was free for me and has provided many free work outs since May. Borrow workout DVDs from your library. You…
  • I have been using the PodRunner podcasts, and love them. I've also spent part of the morning looking at mapmyrun.com trying to come up with some alternative routes to keep things interesting. L
  • That's what I call it when there is a cool app for the iPhone... and the iPhone only LOL
  • I say get out and go for it. Who knows, the sweat from your work out make help flush out some of the toxins from the bug bites!! May be just what you need. L
  • If you don't buy it you can't eat it. Keep your pantry stocked with healthy snacks. And hey, walnuts and almonds aren't the worst thing in the world for you to grab. If you can't exercise right now, you will have to rely on your diet to lose the weight. Do what you can on the exercise front. L
  • I am going to take the opposite of the scale and say you should weigh before your cook your food. Think about a recipe. It will say "1/4 pound salmon" and that means what you ask the butcher for and what you put in the pan. You don't ask for a piece of fish that will weight 1/4 lb when it's done cooking. If you are lucky,…
  • Try to work in a little strength training. Cardio is great for calorie burn immediately; however, strength training will burn calories after you are done repairing and building muscles. Not to mention, muscles burn more calories than fat.
  • I don't like the iPhone conspiracy; I'm a BlackBerry girl
  • I take the Women's One a day with metabolism support and glucosamine chondrotin L
  • Get some Skinny Cow cones as a treat for when you are under your calories!
  • You might be putting on some muscle. Have you measured your waist and hips? Drinking enough water to make up for what you are sweating off? Could be retaining fluid if not. Just some ideas. Keep at it. It will pay off. L
  • Like Jamie, I was going to key in on the sodium in the burgers, and probably even the buffet food. Don't kick yourself over it. Give it time to pass through. I have found that when I eat bad it doesn't necessarily show up the next day, but 2 days later, and takes just as long to rectify itself. The other thing I would like…
  • throw a scoop of protein powder in that and it would be great after a work out! I love just tossing whatever fruit I have on hand in my smoothies. I also use green tea as a base instead of water. Winter is going to suck when all these great summer fruits are out of season. Apple smoothie? hmmm How does citrus work in…
