I'm interested in the feedback you get! I just bought the book NROLFW on amazon.com and it was only $12 paperback. Started reading it last night! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I'm a big fan of Jillian Michael's DVD's, they run about $10 at Target or Walmart. Some of them do require small dumbbells but those aren't too expensive. I do these DVD's while my little one is napping. According to my HRM, I burn about 200 calories for 20-25 minutes. I usually do two of her workouts so I'm going for 50…

You need dumb bells. There are different moves and different ways to hold them in order to target muscles. I started with 3 pounders and now use 5 pounders. She has a set at Walmart with 3's, 5's, and 8's for like $40. Good luck! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss Tools

Thanks for sharing an update, your original post had me laughing so hard I was crying. This one is almost as good. I love the way you tell the story. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

I have a little dark chocolate everyday and I'm moving down the scale still, so I say in moderation it's good! Keeps my sweet tooth happy without feeling the urge to binge. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

I'll have to get some close up photos of some of my ink....I do have a bit! :) But you can see some in my profile photo.

Since you like Jillian, she has a kettle bell DVD that I really like, called "Shred with Weights", it's about $10 at Target/Walmart. I'm pairing that with the 30 DS right now and it kicks my butt! I can only do it 2x a week paired with the other. Love it! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

I use my HRM ~ Polar FT4 and I added a Whey Protein Shake/Smoothie for the days I workout. I've noticed since adding the shake, my muscles seem to "heal" quicker. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

It sucks but your tummy might be the last place you see the loss of inches! Everyone is different and maybe your body is going to hold onto that area until the end! My tummy is shrinking SLOWLY and I have a lot of weight to lose. I've noticed every other part shrinking quicker than the belly. It's rough but I know it will…

Ever since I started this journey, I've been searching the results/success threads and sometimes I'm surprised by what the scale says and how the person looks. I think the scale is a tool that might need to go to the bottom of our list to use! Inches and clothing sizes have risen to the top of my list! I can understand the…

Hee hee  I'm married as well. Feel free to add me. I started at 226 and now I'm 211! It's going to be a long journey to my goal of 150. Cheers! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

When I started I used 3 lbs, but after a week I felt a lot stronger and switched to 5's. I bought her little barbell set which includes 3's, 5's and 8's at Walmart for like 35 - 40 bucks. Good luck! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

Healthy fats and smoothies help me get to the calories I need! A friend recommended a banana and peanut butter smoothie. I make mine with almond milk, chobani yogurt, banana, pb and protein powder and it gets me almost 500 calories! It's tasty and good for me! :drinker: Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

My doc said she eats 2 cups of veggies with lunch and with dinner to help with the hungry factor. I've tried it and it works for me!

I am doing it and it's usually 200 - 250 but I am overweight. From what I've read, people who have less to lose don't burn as much according to the HRM. Also, it is harder to track with the interval training because your heart rate does not necessarily stay in the calorie burning range the entire time. Created by…

I am around day 20 (but I've taken random rest days if I am sore because I pair it with Shred with Weights every so often). I kind of love it! I love to hate Jillian! Going to move onto Level 3 this week. :) I would say at least half of my current weight loss and inches lost are from this. I had to buy new pants after a…

Unfortunately everyones body in unique and different things work for different people. I personally have a lot to lose and started slowing quickly on 1200 calories a day (sometimes eating back calories from workout and sometimes not). Once I upped my calories I started losing more and quicker. I now eat 1500 -1700…

I have made a promise to myself that I will not see those bigger sizes again. Even if I have favorite items, they are just clothes ~ expendable. While the money thing does suck, I do not want to revisit the big sizes just to get my monies worth. My health is more important now. I have been donating them to friends or…

If I am super sore from any Jillian DVD, I take the next day off from her and do another form of exercise that is lower impact to rest my muscles a bit. If you need to, take a whole day off from exercise. Take a hot bath and make sure you are eating lots of protein and drinking lots of water! (This really helps me!) Good…

I don't know about measuring... but I have big shoulder bones, always have. And I've been lower than 150, I've been 125 when I was sick many years ago and I looked like a bobble head! It just didn't look right on my frame! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

I went from eating 1200 calories and not eating calories back, and lost at first but stalled. Now I am working my way up. I'm now eating 1500 - 1700 and always trying to eat my calories back from working out. I lost 2.2 pounds the first week I upped my calories. :) I also find I have more energy. I am a supporter of eating…
