December 2010 October 2011 December 2012 :) I have 9 lbs left to go until goal. I am working mostly on toning and building muscle at this point. :)

For me, it depends what I'm doing and how long I am working out for. If I am only doing cardio for a short amount of time, I won't bother with my protein drink after. But if I am working out for 2+ hours, then I'll have one. Or if I'm doing strength training - then I'll have one.

My weight is all in my thighs and hips. I just finished the first month of Brazilian Butt Lift by Beachbody, and it is wonderful! I got him a couple of things from his list - but hubby and I aren't doing much for gifts this year. I was laid off late September, and haven't found anything nearly as good paying as of yet! Movies, video games, candies, that sort of thing. <3

You could check out Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30... I'm starting that with the 30 Day Shred now. I just finished the Brazil Butt Lift. Had great results!

I use 8 lb weights for most of them. Sometimes, if I can't handle it, I switch to my toning weights. (I don't have anything in between, sadly.) Watch your knees when you're doing squat and press and the lunges and bicep curls. It's easy to have your knee go over the toe. If you do it this way, it's hard on your knees.

I agree about the rest days. If you get injured or push TOO hard, it's not good for you. Listen to your body. I typically work out Monday-Saturday and take Sunday as a rest day. But I have taken an extra day in the week if I'm just too worn out.
