I have an almost 3 year old and 1 year old. If I am lifting dumbbells and don't want them underfoot, I simply section them off in there area with lots of activities where I can see them and they can see me should thy need something I get it for them between sets. IF you are having a steady loss every week, I would stick to the plan you already have. If you plateau then seek to change something. If you try to do too much all at once in an attempt to speed up your loss, you may burn out.

The first time I used shirataki noodles I almost gagged, then I went back and read how to prepare them, make a yummy sauce to go with it and it was good. Do I prefer true noodles? yes, but they aren't as bad if you rinse them right and dry roast them. I have yet to try the squash spaghettis.

no it shouldn't especially if you are cooking your own food. You can have egg, chicken, steak and pork. Pick good choice cuts that are low in fat. Looks like you went from skinny fat to skinny fit. Now you are from AL and that could also play a role. Women aren't suppose to be so skinny in the southern states that's how a lot of the older generation feels or even exercise in the conventional sense.
