Having issues as well. Had a Fitbit that always seemed to sync pretty flawlessly with MFP but was thrilled to upgrade to the new Forerunner 235 as I ramp up my workouts so disappointing to not see any "credit" to my diary for them. Hope we see a fix soon!

^^^ Very true! I was amazed to realize that people percieved me as confident because I certainly didn't feel that way but I agree...once I felt better about myself, others reacted to that very positively.

That's incredible! You look fabulous and so happy!

I agree...you look awesome!! :)

I also try to pre-plan and often to pre-log. I travel every week so often it's just me which makes it easier as I only have to worry about what I like/want but I find that if I don't prepare it also makes it much easier to just grab something unhealthy. So many good ideas in this thread though already have me thinking…

A fabulous skirt suit for work and ditto on the women's cut jersey...so much more flattering than the mens!

This. Try to plan in advance. I find it's easier to stick to what I've planned out to eat if I've already pre-logged it and this way you'll know up-front that you've eaten enough throughout the day to meet that calorie goal without having to eat things you don't want at the end of the day. Good luck!

Congrats!!

Incredibly inspiring story...thanks so much for sharing it!

This. You are beautiful...remember you are doing this for you and you deserve someone who believes that too.

Yes...every day and it is good to know I am not alone! I don't know if it is some sort of denial but I am also always surprised by how different I look to myself in the mirror compared to when I see a picture of myself. I have resorted to keeping a picture with me to serve as a reminder so that when I start fooling myself…

I struggle with the same thing but think you're of the right mindset not to stress too much about it. I generally just try to make the best choices for the meals where I have less control and compensate during the ones where I do (i.e. breakfast in the hotel). Depeneding on where and how you are traveling; I have also…

bump to read later...I'm so glad I clicked on this thread and realize that I'm not crazy and that from the look of things far too many people are going through the same things I have...the things that have made me feel for years not good enough. I am sorry for everyone's pain and thank you for sharing your stories and the…

I was also using both WW and MFP because I know WW has worked for me in the past but I was just having such a hard time getting motivated to count points again. I think I had become complacent with the plan which was making me less accountable to it than I had been in the past. I was also able to justify food choices that…

I had a BodyBugg before but I didn't feel comfortable wearing it to work & it also gave me a rash on my arm, though that was years ago and it has been redesigned since then. I did think it was quite accurate though. I just received a Fitbit for Mother's Day and I love it. I am not sure how they compare for accuracy but I…

Congrats to you and your wife!! And thank you for sharing your inspirational story!

Yay...that is such a great accomplishment and as always so inspiring!
Bestbuy in the US has them for the same price as the website. I believe shipping is free from the fitbit website, so take your pick.
Thanks...just checked the local Best Buy and they have them in stock so I think I know what my Mother's Day gift will be since my husband has been asking for ideas!

Sounds like the feedback would be very motivating! Are you able to purchase them in a store or do you have to order directly through the website? Thanks!

Hello! I am also recently back after a long hiatus ... took remembering that I didn't want to waste anymore of my life being unhappy with myself. I didn't use the message boards last time around but I am thinking that having some friends going through the same thing to be accountable to might help!

Bump. Thank you to everyone for sharing your pics and stories. It's so inspirational!

Congrats on being down sizes! In addition to window shopping there are great consignment shops around where you can not only find great pieces at a lower cost but you can also try to purge some of those bigger sizes as well! I have also found over the years that when I was unhappy with myself I would buy so much more…
