Results??? If you participated in the shred - whether you finished or not, this question is for you... What were your results?
-
Sundinsgurl - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Good for you! Out of the pack, you finished and you finished strong.
-
Jessica - that is awesome!!!! Good for you! That's really good! I've had some motivational struggles, but last week did a little better - I'm getting back into my morning walk routine - not far, but everything helps! Thursday I went out just to get back out there. I said - I'm going to walk and see how it goes. Well, when…

I'm not good at getting up and running in the morning either. I do best right after work, and yes, it's hard to do that. I guess that's why the long runs are on the weekends! I had wanted to keep up my evening walks, but that hasn't worked out so well. The past couple of days I have made it out for a first thing in the…

Normal BMI = 18.5 - 24.9... your target is 19.53-18.92 depending upon your height. However, my dear, you look fabulous and "normal" for you might be a bit higher than your goal!

Food logged - 3 mile run completed in 47 minutes including warm up and cool down.
-
Come on all you shredders! You've had great momentum this whole month... don't quit now!!!!!
-
Jessica - Baby steps indeed! I'm proud of you for sticking with it and doing so well! Today's exercise didn't go so well - I started working out and just ran out of energy after about 5 minutes - so I played Wii sports instead (one of the disadvantages of not going to the gym... it's easier to quit sooner!) Tomorrow is…
-
Jessica, You're doing great! Your 10k is at the beginning of September - and you're able to run 5 miles! You're right on track to have an awesome race! I'm starting my week 5 do-over tomorrow. Jan

I just added up my year to date running mileage - 102 miles!!!
-
Ladies? Where'd you all go?? With my travels I got a little off track this week Tuesday - Thursday. I've been bad about not logging my food (I think I didn't want to know!) Between Birthday cake and Texas Bar-b-que... Yum. But alas, it set me back a couple of lbs. Since I still have time before my 10k, I'm going to get…

Congratulations! Good for you! Now... don't stop!!!!!

Cross just means another type of exercise - could be running, eliptical, swimming, walking, whatever.
-
I'm not that fast... I did one mile in the morning, then 4 miles at night. The 4 miles was just about 1 hour, including warm-up & cool-down walks.
-
Show off ;^) Welcome, Smiles!
-
I did get my 4 mile run in Sunday evening - so a total of 5 miles for the day. Still very slow - but, but golly, I got in the distance :-)
-
Jessica - That is wonderful! 5 miles in just a little over an hour! You rock! I'm getting in 4 miles today. I'm not sure if I can get them in consecutively or not, but I'm going to get the distance one way or the other! I ran one this morning. Maybe I can sneak in a full 4 mile run later! This week I've been mostly…

Jessica - Good for you! I'm glad you hydrated being out there in the heat of the day! Maddiebabe - good for you on the spin classes! I've only done one of those. That's the class EVERYONE wants to get into at the gym. I've only been to one. Usually there is a wait list before I get there. So drumroll please.... I did the…

How are you guys deciding when to move from one level to the next?
-
I mapped out my run - it's actually a tad over at 4.14. I'm going to go tonight instead of tomorrow. I'll run what I can, and walk the rest.
-
I'm in for a long run tomorrow. I was out of town and got off schedule, but instead I walked almost 3 miles EVERY DAY - so I think I did just as well as if I'd followed the plan for last week. I'll shoot for the 4 mile run, but settle for 3.5 it I need to. Yesterday I stopped at a state park and did a 5 mile hike on a…

I"m visiting with my sister, and have picked up her exercise routine of .75 mile fast walk in the morning, and a 2 mile walk at night. I haven't had a chance to run in addition to that, but I don't feel like a slacker either.
-
What fun playing with grandkids!
-
Thanks for reminding me :-) Sometimes it feels like I'll never get to my goal!
-
I completed today's 2 mile run and strength training.
-
You all are doing great! Don't give up! I've done level 1 twice now - tonight with 5lb weights. The only part I really struggled with were the shoulder raises with the side lunges. That was fine wiht the 2 lb wts, but harder with 5lbs. I'm thinking of trying level 2 next time.
-
Bent over boxing? I'm pretty sure your back should be upright and straight with your legs double shoulder-width apart for the punches.
-
Today's cross-train was 30 day shred level 1 and 10 wii fit credits. I used 5lb weights tonight - made it much harder than the other day, but I finished the whole thing. Good job Jessica and Maddiebabe!
-
Today's 2.5 mile run has been completed. I had some trouble breathing while running, so I had to take some walk breaks. Fortunately on this plan the goal is the distance not the time :-) So I got the distance I needed in.

The link to the plan I'm following is on the first page of this thread, first post. Here is another 10k plan a friend recommended. http://jeffgalloway.com/training/5k.html#10k
