Welcome!

Go for it! The C25k program is intended to gradually build your strength and endurance. If you find you can't run the intervals just walk briskly as you said you are already able to do!

This may or may not help. I know some will disagree. I tossed that sodium tracker. If you are drinking the recommended daily allowed for water you shouldn't have the issues that come along with high sodium intake. Generally I try to stay away from processed cheeses (buy from the deli buy meats sliced from the deli) and try…

That's a loaded question. If you're gonna get accurate answers we need to know these things What is the ideal weight for your height How many calories are you taking in (over a weeks time) How many calories are you burning (over a weeks time)

Grrr! I know what you mean. Keep at it!

THAT'S AWESOME. GIVES ME HOPE

You use BUMP when you want to "bookmark" a topic , so you can read it later. I sympathize with your plateaued weight loss. But you may be very close to your ideal weight wich will make it harder to lose. If that is the case you have to keep track of everything you eat and all exercise. To begin exercise. Not that I am a…

YOU'RE A KNOCK OUT!

GO FOR IT! We have an above ground pool. 15 x 52. I do spend roughly 45.00 a month on chemical and about 45 mins weekly cleaning, checking filter, vacuming. So your co workers estimates seem to be right on. But my husband and I have decide that we are going to go bigger and better. It is sooo worth it!

I know what you mean. But TOM has a way of doing that to me too. One day won't sabatoge your efforts. Just start for the rest of the day to make better choices and tommorrow you will already be on track. P.S. Avoid the scale until TOM is over if at all possible.

WOW. How knew?

I stop my HRM when the workout stops. I don't count housework as extra activities but a lot of others do.

DITTO I'm afraid to increase by THAT much. 100-200 at the most

If you are following the recommend caloric intake to LOSE WEIGHT and burning 550 more thru exercise you aren't eating enough. Try uping your calories by 100-200 a day. I was having the same trouble a couple weeks back. But my fellow MFP'ers told me to start eating at least half my exercise calories and I went from losing 1…

Okay, so what if you DID workout every evening to get away from the kids? I know that If I had spent every waking moment with the 3 I have I probably would have gone insane! I love them and enjoy the time spent with them but EVERY mom needs some down time.

Trust the HRM!

I love it when a plan comes together!

You can also set limits for yourself PRIOR to getting there. Have what everyone else is having just plan to always eat half of what you normally would and only drink half of what you usually drink. I know it's hard to restrict yourself when with the family but this way you still partake in the food and drinks just not as…

I can't do real push - ups ( not on knees) But I will in 12 weeks!

Yes it is! Your heart rate , generally speaking, is how you know how hard you are working. It's great that it is taking more time for you to get it up there! I think if you feel okay it is safe to go beyond your suggested max heart rate. After all any equation you get for this is just a general number not your personal…
