Hi Andrina...one of my favorites is mixed berries, pineapple, protein powder and crystal light. 1/2 cup mixed berries 1/2 cup pineapple 8-12 oz crystal light, any flavor scoop of protein powder I freeze together a half cup of mixed berries and a half cup of pineapple in baggies. This way, no ice is needed. As my son says,…

As of February 3rd: Me - 2 Binge - 1 Consecutive days binge free: 2 How many days to change a habit? 21? Sigh...one day at a time, right?
-
I was doing pretty well Saturday, considering I was home alone until late afternoon, but once I finished everything I set out to accomplish, I started "picking" which turned into overeating, verging on a binge. So I'm going to give the day to the binge. I'm usually pretty good at planning my days with exercise and what…

Another awesome post from you Sue. You continue to keep me inspired!!! God has truly blessed you!!!
-
Awesome job on pre-planning!! Helps take your mind off the anxiety of what you will eat! Have a great time!

Your honesty continues to amaze me!!! So many times we are afraid to put ourselves out there for fear of judgment. I truly admire your bravery and appreciate your honesty!!! You have been through so much in life but do not rest on being the "victim". God bless you for sharing your life with us!

Beautiful pictures!!! The best part is your happy smile. Keep up the awesome work!

Morning all! I'm new to the challenge. My goal is to lose a pound per week, totaling 50 pounds in a year's time. I'm just starting on this journey, and I think the accountability here will be great!

Morning all. I'm new to this thread, but not MFP. I've been away for a while, thinking I could take care of things on my own, but realized I missed and needed the support offered here! My problem in the past with dieting has been "worshipping" the diet instead of God. I'm going to do things differently this time and go to…

Morning all! I'm new to this thread, but not new to Cathe workouts. I just got her new XTrain series and started this week. So far so good. I like how she mixes it up and offers the premixes for other options. I also enjoy Chalene Johnson's Turbo Fire series. Kickboxing is a blast! Thismorning was XTrain bi's & tri's and I…

I was advised by a trainer to get one with the chest strap, along with the watch. Supposedly this is the most accurate read. If i'm on a piece of cardio equipment that can check your heart rate, I don't have to wear the watch with those, just the chest strap. I'm not sure how you would get your readings without the watch.…
-
If you want an accurate read, you may want to invest in some type of heart rate monitor to wear while you're exercising. I've started wearing mine again and notice that the numbers may change depending on how hard I'm working on a particular day.

Thanks so much for the reference in Romans KatKitty. I also struggle with emotional binge eating and my faith is my #1 priority to get me through. I will definitely be reviewing that chapter in the Bible. Thanks again!

I can totally relate to what you're saying Kim. I've been a binge/emotional eater most of my life and have only recently shared that side of myself with my husband. In the past fifteen years I've put on 40 pounds. I'm finally dealing with it head on and being honest with him. He asked me when I overeat/binge because he…

I've done a lot of different workouts, but I really enjoy the change and challenge that BR offers. I did Workout 4 today for the first time and am still sore from Workout 3 yesterday. I'm adding extra cardio as I usually work out 45-60 minutes a day, but the weather has been beautiful and I love going out for a walk after…

I'm in!!! Sounds like a great idea!

Afternoon all...I'm a new to this thread, and new to being 50! I just had my birthday in July. I've always thought I had time to get healthy, I've got at least 40 pounds to lose, and when I turned 50 a shot of panic went through me. THEN my doctor's office called me the other night to tell me my cholesterol is 213!!! Time…

Just for today, I will be happy with what's on my food plan, and not obssess about it.

Just for today, when I get home from work, I will exercise for 20 minutes, like I always plan, instead of getting busy doing other things and never getting to my exercise!
-
I guess what jumps out at me is that they claim you can lose 30 pounds in six months. An average, healthy weight loss program will help you lose 1/2 to 2 pounds per week, so losing 30 pounds in six months averages out to five pounds per month, which is what a healthy eating/exercise program will do for you. After trying so…

Hey Stormy...there is actually a workout schedule in the CLX book that came with your videos. And the cardio dvd's with CLX are pretty awsome too. I love doing CLX and Turbo Fire together! Chalene is so much fun.
-
Hey everyone!! I started a 90 day fitness routine, incorporating Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme. Love, love, love her!!! Awsome workouts!! I had a day off today, but tomorrow will be Hiit 25. So much fun!
-
So sorry to hear about your neighbor's child. I can't imagine how difficult that must be. I like your thinking...just for today. I just told myself last night that I'm so tired of starting over every day!!! So, just for today, I will get in my 30 minutes of exercise, no matter what.
-
You'll have to check the schedule, but I think I started the hybrid schedule somewhere around week 12-15, which incorporates both the Turbo Fire workouts and Extreme. Just review the schedule and see where you might be comfortable starting.
-
This morning I did Chalene's Burn it Up, Chalean Extreme and Extreme Abs. Tomorrow morning is Hiit 20 followed by Tone 30. Love Chalene!

I'm new to the group, but like the way you think! Food is my drug, and I HAVE to take it one day at a time. I'm a typical mom who has spent the past 30 years taking care of everyone but myself. Now that all five the kids are out of the house, I'm ready to take care of me, but I'm not even sure how to do that. I turned 50…

I've always been a big fan of the Firm and ordered this series. I'm doing a 90 day program right now with Turbo Fire/Chalean Extreme, but do enjoy that Firm series. HOWEVER, you are correct that three days a week, for 20 minutes at a shot, is not enough. What I have done with the videos is I will do them twice for a 40…

Afternoon all!! About two weeks ago I started a 90 day Beachbody challenge. I'm doing a combination of Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme. I LOVE Chalene!!! Her videos are so much fun and she's so energetic. I also love it because there's a woman in a lot of her videos who is 60!! I celebrated my 50th birthday this summer and…
