I lost another 3 lbs but then I had some "off" days and I think i gained that measly 3 lbs back again ! LOL I am a short gal at…
  • On the ALLI diet ( which I am on) it is not just counting calories but also limiting FAT GRAMS !!! Makes a HUGE difference!! :-)
  • I don't think it is a matter of "excuse or not" I think it is more about learning new ways of doing things. I buy very little meat because it costs too much.. my main meals are grilled talipia (fish) and grilled chicken breasts (skinless), ... bean/veggie soup with a tiny bit of ham or bacon for taste, cornbread. For…

My oldest daughter 47 is a personal health fitness trainer and my youngest daughter is a RN going for her NP…
  • seems like it depends on where you want to keep your protein and carb levels ...I only watch my fat grams and my calories, and salt and sugar ....I read the labels on everything or look it up. My fav. snack or desert is low fat, low cal. yogurt and fresh fruit that I add myself ...or LOW "everything" rye crackers with tuna…
  • I would definitly ask the therapist for advice on this one! Are you able to just walk some ...or maybe do some water arobics? Your therapist should have some info for your specific back injury..if they know their stuff! Good luck!!!
  • I agree with others here, go by the way your clothes fit and how you look and feel, NOT the numbers! I have a crappy cheap weight scale and uneven floor surfaces...so I can only judge by if the scale is going down not up! My bra size went down also....YEAH for me!
  • excellent advice Heather ...I think I will put my scales away for the week and just try on some clothes!!

I sometimes mix my green tea 1/2 and 1/2 with LIGHT peach flavor ice tea mix...it also has 0 calories, 0 sodium, 0 sugar. If I had to drink PLAIN water I would not get enough for the day!…
  • I actually started the MyAlli plan on 1/1/10 and it took me a couple weeks to start losing weight. I have only lost about 13-15 lbs but my exercise level is moderate ( I am 63 and have health issues) But anyway I have learned that you really have to do some serious research and planning with meals and exercise ...sometimes…
