Add me :) i'm 21 been vegetarian and very slowly/gradually vegan for about 4years now. I take a lot of protein supplements though because of strenght training.

Banana or apples ( or both) and beanut butter. Clif / luna bars ( I know, not that healthy but I love them haha) baked chickpeas. kale chips ( my favorite, but on rare occasion when I want a treat since they're expensive.) anything-that-goes-well-with-humus, and humus.

I get this tahini phase sometimes where I'll just eat whatever is great with tahini dressing. Tahini, water, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt, pepper. Mixed all together. It's approximate, it's been a while since I last counted the ingredients I put in there. You might need to adjust if you try.…

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the replies, I'm running tomorrow. I'm excited :) I'm wearing Speed Cross 3's and definitely no cotton.

You all can feel free to have me. It's always great to have vegan mfp friends. :D

Shopping for make up is a pain in the *kitten* trying to figure out/ remember which brand does and does not test on animals. Seeing a leaping bunny on products makes you wanna scream hallelujah, You've been asked about your protein intake about 100 times. You've heard " omg, I could never live without cheese " countless…

-
FORGOT ABOUT THE CHALLENGE Guess I'm starting on day 3 for this one then. D:
-
I'm vegan but feel free to add me, I eat around 2000 calories/day.
-
Getting my burpee tolerance ready for my upcoming spartan races this summer ahaha.
-
I'm doing this but I think I'll start on day10 :)
-
The calorie estimation changes throughout the day, but gets more accurate with time. I log my food and exercise on MFP and allow negative changes. at the end of the day it'll fall back into place most of the time. MFP calculates your calorie burn really approximately, fitbit isnt always on point but it's a lot more…

Hey ! I'm 20, I'm not doing this challenge to lose weight ( although I would like to. ) but I always like to try and improve myself and see the progress I have made. Im taking the burpee plank and push up challenge. :)

When you cry reading this because you have mo vegan friends.

15 pounds in 2 weeks ? That's a lot, you may just want to make sure you are still eating enough food. And remember that the pills aren't what makes you lose weight, you are. Just so you don't become too dependant of them just to " stick to it ". Which medication were you prescribed ? Do you like working out at the gym ?…

You simply don't eat enough. Contrary to popular belief, 1200 calories really isn't enough and will only slow your metabolism down on the long run. 2 pounds a week isn't always appropriate, depending on your weight. Eat your veggies. :)
-
You don't even see meat as food anymore, all you see is a dead animal on a plate. You wonder why people tell you they wouldn't know what to eat if they were vegetarian, Because there are SO many options. I know what to eat as a vegan but if I was a vegetarian there would be even more options. Everyone is confused and don't…

Added you :)
-
You're really excited when you see " certified vegan" on food packages.
-
thanks for the podcasts recommendations, I'll look it up. :) I started to be vegan for ehtical reasons, it wasn't for health or anything. I sure am a lot more healthy than I was back in my meat eating days though. But a vegan can be completely unhealthy. I just feel the pressure to be healthy. Since I'm the only vegan…
-
How long have you been vegan for ?
-
Yeah exactly ! Especially if I eat alternatives like vegan yogurt, ice cream or Daiya and even cereals. " Isn't there milk in that oatmeal ? " " Are you sure that's vegan ?" Thanks for your concern, but I'm sure. Sometimes I feel like people watch what I eat because they're curious about what vegans eat.
-
Were you already vegetarian before or are you going cold turkey from meat eating to vegan ?

Vega products are great, I gotta admit I'm not the biggest fan of their nutritional shake, I would recommend order them in sample on their website so you know which one you really like ( it would be unfortunate to spend 60$ on a product you aren't going to use.) Vega sports shake are higher in protein and taste better in…

Vega bars. They are pricey though, but once in a while, they are totally worth it and they're soy-free.
