Hoping I can stick at it

Hello out there. I'm a 31 yr old mom of twims. I recently was diagnosed with adult A.D.D. Once i started taking my most recent medication i lost 15 lbs in two weeks. I also gained some tools o needed to get started. So i joined a local gym that my sister uses. I pay next to nothing for great equipment a pool and jacuzzi. So I'm about 3 to 4 weeks in. I'm the type to start something and just up and stop. So here we go. Hopefully I'll be here for a while with good news.

Hi, it's great that you've got some things to help. Get yourself involved on here and hopefully chatting to others will keep you motivated. Good luck :-)

You can do it, you really just have to make it a daily routine. find fun ways to get exercise, incorporate your kiddo's if you can. I change up my routine frequently so i do not get bored. I also have some motivation clothes hanging in my closet and I try them on weekly, the closer I get to fitting into them, the more motivated I get! Good luck on your journey! You can do it!

So here we go. I will be back soon to report my progress and good news.

I think your chances for success will improve dramatically. Nobody is successful losing weight because they are hopeful. You and you alone can change yourself and become a healthier, fitter person. Decide that you are going to make it happen, commit to the process, persevere through the rough times, and be patient. It WILL happen.

15 pounds in 2 weeks ? That's a lot, you may just want to make sure you are still eating enough food.
And remember that the pills aren't what makes you lose weight, you are. Just so you don't become too dependant of them just to " stick to it ". Which medication were you prescribed ?

Do you like working out at the gym ? Try to find something you enjoy doing, that's the best way to stick to physical activities. :) If you enjoy the gym and it doesn't feel like a burden then it's good.
