I would! I find my friends get a bit bored of talking about weightloss so it would be great to have more people to interact with on MFP!

This is my goal too!

I plan my meal plan the night before so that I have spaced out my calories across the day. I couldn't personally have one big meal and a snack - instead, I have breakfast, two lunches, a dinner and three snacks throughout the day. 1200 calories is low, but I tend to aim for this amount of calories because I'm sure I am…

I've returned to MFP this week - I lost 46lbs 2012/13 but then regained some during a 3 month trip across the USA (cheesecake :s ) I want to lose 20 lbs to get back to my goal weight and would love some support along the way!

Thanks for all of your replies! If I had been 'back on the wagon' for longer, I would consider treating it as a fun night, but as many have said... I'm here because of too many fun nights! I really appreciate all of your help :) I'm going to avoid anything fried and have a good work out beforehand.

Thanks everyone :) I think I'm going to go for the chicken, chickpeas and butternut squash - and share with my hubby! I just hope I can ignore the halloumi and chorizo that everyone else will probably order!

So AllanMisner would your advice be to keep eating clean, keep lifting and rely on measurements instead of lbs? This is what my brain is telling me but my scale addiction is hard to kick! Are you also saying that I could be the same size or smaller at 1 40 lbs with weight training than at 133 lbs with diet alone?

I'm 5 foot 7 :)

Muesli and tortilla wraps! When I started 'eating healthy' but wasn't yet calorie counting I'd have a big bowl of Alpen for breakfast and a ham salad wrap for lunch... then I realised how many calories are in them!!

Wedding date set for 21st Dec 2013! I'm currently 147lbs and UK size 12 but want to drop at least one more dress size and tone up by the big day! I imagine I need to lose another 21lbs to get to where I want to be? We can do it!
-
I'm getting married Dec 2013 and want to drop another dress size (so maybe another 21 lbs) by then. I know that I can do it, I just need to make sure I stay motivated despite it seeming like so long!
-
It's not booked yet, but we're looking to be married on 21st December 2013. I've dropped from a size 16 to a size 12, and would like to be a size 10 (or, dare I say it, a size 8??) for the wedding! I can do that in a year, right?

I met my boyfriend at school when I was 14 and he was 16. I'd always felt awkward around boys and sort of had to grab their attention (unsuccessfully) but with Sam (who was - and is - gorgeous) it was so natural. We became best friends and then just after my 15th birthday he 'asked me out'! Unfortunately, his best friend…

It's funny you should say that... look at this! There's less bulging either side of the ring now and it actually feels a little loose! Additionally (and it may just be wishful thinking) but I'm sure there's a hint of a knuckle bone in the new pic that just wasn't there a year ago! I knew I was losing it from suspicious…

Haha it was a good dream! but i felt so guilty when I woke up (thinking I had eaten it for real) that i've not fancied eating any today! win win!
-
Haha I had a dream last night that I ate SO much chocolate and icecream... when I woke up I felt so bad that it's put me off eating it for real! Very useful!

What I do doesn't work for everyone but I weigh every morning after going to the bathroom and before having anything to eat or drink. I'm sure weigh does fluctuate, but I've usually only ever seen small but consistent losses or maintenance of weight as long as I've been eating right. Starting each day knowing what I weigh…

Wow thank you so much everyone! I've felt so horrible for so long that reading all your lovely comments are making me a bit emotional! <3

@PHr34k0wt We should be diet buddies! My next goal is 140lbs/10 stone and then I'll reassess from there, probably would like to get nearer to 126lbs or maybe 133lbs eventually but I'll see how I feel at the time. More importantly than weight, I really want to be a size 10! I need to up my toning exercises a bit in the New…

Wow everyone thank you for your comments! I know posting pics like this is so narcissistic but I'm really proud of myself and I guess just wanted a bit of reassurance that I was doing well! You've all made me feel lovely :) p.s sorry for the crap quality of the pictures of me in my purple dress (and the closed eyes!) -…

Just fixed x

Thanks for the advice everyone - have eaten 1200 yesterday and on my way to it again today. Won't be eating back my exercise cals tho - is that ok? x
-
Just did my first 30ds workout! I'm so tired and sweaty (and I've never felt pain like it hahaha!) but I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow! Start measurements: Bust- 39 Waist- 30.5 Hips- 39

I'm 5 foot 6 inches, starting weight 180lbs, currently 162lbs, first goal weight 154lbs and eventual goal weight 140lbs x

When I say 'used to less' I mean in terms of not really getting hungry when eating 900 cals a day. Out of interest, if 1200 is too low, how come MFP puts that as a daily goal? Overall, I'm getting a slightly mixed message from people (sorry...I'm just trying to decide what I should do). Most people are saying I should…
-
Can I also add that I've lost 17lbs doing what I'm doing but have become conscious of the low cals because I don't want to hit a brick wall - if its working for me should i carry on, or should i make the change even though I'm doing OK as I am?
-
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the lack of angry 'starvation mode' comments! Just in reply to some of what has been said: I don't feel like I've been starving myself at 900 - I eat good, filling food like scrambled eggs, fruit, chicken, roasted veg, salad, soups etc and never really feel hungry... but I do crave junk like…

Sorry forgot to mention that I'm a size 12 on bottom, 14 on top x

I'm 21 :) feel free to add
