Oh yeah I've been to my goal for sure. I think my problem is I need self control.
-
Thats the problem I look fatter and wider, clothes are tighter, I've gained 8 lbs and 8". Soooo something isnt working for me. My ticker was almost to my goal. I was 2 lbs away.

Okay as I did before I found another on bodybuilding.com that their (Michelle Hanson) cutting regime is only 998 calories!!! She works out 3 times a week with lifting and each of those 3 days she does 3 45 minutes sessions of cardio on top of lifting. i think I would die!
-
The way I've been eating I dont think I could ever cut my calories...lol. Seriously. Without feeling deprived I dont think I can do a cut. P.s. am I the only one with no self-control with cals? I hear so many say they struggle to get to their goal. I WISH I had that problem.
-
I ate 2400 cals today with 500 cardio so I netted 1900 (I'm short so this is alot) and was playing around with the site and saw that option so it made me think i could definitely eat this much everyday if it means I would indeed lose fat. Just want to get this off my body but when it comes to food I have no control...lol.
-
has anyone tried that option on scooby? And did it work?
-
I aso have an HRM and fitbit. I would love a BMF because it can be worn all day and does what both the hrm and fb do BUT I woudlnt want to wear it on my arm all day especially in the summer.

Supposedly they are highly accurate. I dont have one though but this sounds very similar to what others who are active are seeing. As for the calories I have gained 8 lbs and inches all over but apparently this will work itself out after about 8 weeks so you seem to be on the right track. :)

I used 25# dumbells for benchpress, sitting arm extention and one arm row. Then I used a barbell at 68 lbs for the squats, 15# for bicep curls and I got to 10-12 on each fo them. But it felt really good. Better than NROL to me. Could be because NROL uses lots of gym equipment but I'm home. i dont know but I'll fidn out…

Bumpng to mark because I am in the same boat EXCEPT its been 6 weeks and I look and feel huge. I was at 112 in March (had lost 8 lbs since starting MFP in October) and now 123 and gained all my inches back and more. I was starting to like myself in the mirror but now I do not. Gained 1.5" around every place I measure. So…

This is EXACTLY what happens to me. (binging if I deny myself soemthing)
-
I tried this today and LOVE it!
-
I keep hearing though that your muscles need to heal and this builds muscle but nothing ever is sore so nothing is healing. Is this not true?

Just finished stage 3 and should have started stage 4 today. But I have yet to feel any soreness and yes I lift as heavy as I can for the amount of reps specified so I dont know much else to do. I posted a similar topic a few days ago and really didnt get an answer except maybe my form is off. I think it was okay so…

Just know you are not the only one this is happening too. I am on 6 weeks of EM2WL and have gained lbs (about 10, hoping some is water and LBM as I have been heavy lifting too) and gained 8" all over as well. Trying to reset metabolism and trying to keep the chin up. There are a few others of us out here too. Just so you…

Cool! Thankyou so much! I wanted to do soemthign different this week!
-
This is what i was going to say. I need to start teaching classes...lol.
-
Would anyone jump to stage 6 or 7?
-
It is tough mentally but I'm trying not to weigh myself and this eating at TDEE is supposed to reset my metabolism. So its worth trying. I shouldnt gain anymore if I'm eating what I'm burning. I want that good sore and I'm just not getting it. I have upped my weights and always think okay now I'll have that sore and I…

Thanku for posting about this! I think I might stop NROL4W as it doesnt seem to be working for me and would love another option. I know Kiki likes Cathe as well.
-
Cant tell if I'm getting any stronger actually and I guarantee I'm not losing. I have gained 8 lbs and 6-8" (like 4-5 places measured 1.5" gain) Posted about this the other day and I was recommended to eat TDEE for awhile.
-
You do not realize how much I needed to hear this!!! Thankyou!

Hi there! I just entered my stats on the scooby sight. Which calculation is preferred? Cunningham is like a 300 cal sdifference and mifflin is the lowest.
-
I would like to know about the calorie question as well as I have always wondered. :) I will be starting stage 4 (out of 7 stages) in the NROL4W book. I havent been sore at all and have been lifting the heaviest I have ever lifted in 20 years. I was sore after doing Bob Harpers DVDs and Supreme90 DVDs but never on this…

This. :)

I'd like to know better as well. I have been netting BMR because I thought we should but I also understand where you are coming from. Its always been very confusing on which to do. I always eat my maintence (or TDEE) but would always net 300 below BMR if i didnt try to net bmr.

bumping to see if anyone has advice
-
YES! I was looking at her pic too and thinking the same thing and then saw your comment! LOL!

WHOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I wear a fitbit as well and sometimes question it too. I usually try to eat my 15% cut ( go over if I'm especially hungry that day). So now I just use my fitbit to make me move more to get to my goals as in flights of stairs, steps, etc... and dont really use the cals burned for the day.
