Yay! Couch to 5 k is a great way to get cardio in! The leader board is just a fancy way of saying the first post for the Weekly Challenge. Do you see the very top post that I made on this strain with people's names and smiley faces next to it? That's the leader board post. Fancy stuff. lol

Of course what was I thinking!?! Hotter sex is of course number one! Thanks Aggie for pointing out the obvious. Lol! I like the seat belt extender and fitting into seats and booths. This is why this group is necessary!

Yes Fit and Active is a brand and I think I will have to investigate!

Philadelphia dark chocolate cream cheese sounds divine........ sigh

It's unfortunate that it will probably be necessary for me too once I lose all the weight. I haven't ever made it that far so I haven't given it any serious thought but I would imagine my road block will be saving up for it. If I have a few extra thousand sittin' around when I hit my goal weight then heck ya!

It's pretty cut and dry. You can do the miles or the minutes and try and eat in the green for 6 out of 7 days for extra credit. Tell me you finished on the challenge board right here by Sunday night and you get added to the leader board. Welcome to the challenge!

Let's kick some butt!

^^^^ I think that's a really good idea. My hubby is understanding so saying something like this would work for him so maybe it would work for you! Maybe your treat can be something that's still food that is still easy to grab so he doesn't abandon bringing you stuff entirely. Maybe like an individual pack of peanuts,…

For something sweet I like the skinny cow variety pack of ice cream sandwiches. For something salty I just discovered Pop chips. These are chips that aren't baked or fried but air popped. I really like them!
-
Oy!!! My parents always say they know I am trying to lose and they are supportive. THEN they buy cakes and as many types of chips humanly possible when we come to visit. It is MADNESS!!! I don't know about you but in my own life it seems like people think I take it too seriously or I try to be "too strict". The attitude is…

AH-mazing! Now that is some self control! Great job!
-
Aw thanks! I know I do pat myself on the back for my achievements. Although I know making one bad choice isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things my bad decisions usually spread to either wrecking the whole day or the entire week. It is really hard to control it when you let it go off track. Just gotta keep…

LOL you will do more than survive!!

Yes! Every Monday a new challenge is posted!

Welcome! Glad you are here!

Yay!! Glad you are joining us!

I would like to lose another 50 pounds. I know it sounds like an awful lot but I am going for it. I have a trainer now and the scale has began to move so the exercise will help me get closer. I really have to work on keeping my food under control and I know I can make it happen!
-
Wooo Hooo!!! Welcome back!

Get your numbers in! This has been an amazingly productive week for me. The scale has FINALLY moved again (um, it better have I have been busting my butt all week) and I am excited for the weeks to come! Come on everyone, let's get motivated. We have 17 weeks till the dreaded holidays. We all LOVE the holidays but that…

So I live in a town that comes alive once a year. The Pro Football Hall of Fame festival is this week and this morning there was a parade. I live right next to the parade route so I was trapped in traffic for a while -- making me late for my training. I called the trainer and asked if it was ok if I was late. He said I…

Welcome Onlineslimme and Aweltha! I have to agree with you Sarita. I definitely don't want to get into the habit of eating crazy just because I worked out. I feel like if I am making this crazy effort I should be getting the most out of it - not eating all of my results away. Over the years I have diet-ed off and on and…
-
Nice Sarita! It is really hard sometimes. If I only had 10 pounds to lose I might let myself have a twinkie lol but at this weight sometimes we have to say no. It won't kill you, you survive and then feel proud of yourself. I was in a business meeting with 3 other "normal size" girls and they decided after eating a…

How's everyone doing this week? I am having a pretty productive week so far! It's been really really really quiet in here and I just want to see how everyone is!? How's your week everybody?

Congratulations to: Sarita! :flowerforyou: Awesome job!

Sometimes alone time is PERFECT for refocusing ourselves! Go girl!

Funny thing (kinda) .... I went to the trainer yesterday and he had one of those gigantic tractor tires laying on its side. He was asking me to step in with one foot and squat. Then I didn't lift my foot high enough and I fell over onto the floor. TWICE. Not cool man not cool. I was laughing (out of embarrassment) but I…

YAY!!! Sarita I am SO happy for you girlfriend! Keeping your diet under control was a major goal for you! Nice! And the weight loss? Icing on an already fabulous cake! (pardon the dessert reference) Yahooooooo!

Hi! I hope you are feeling a little better here later in the day. I don't pretend to have all the answers and I struggle myself sometimes too. All I can say is when it gets you down remember your goals. I had been walking and doing the Couch to 5k (run/walk) program a couple days a week. That was it. And watching my…

STATUS CHECK! Is everyone doing ok out there? This week has been INSANE. My trainer cancelled on me twice this week because of his schedule conflicts. I had an 18 page paper due yesterday, a big presentation and two assignment deadlines at work. This has not been good on the schedule. SLAMMED and having a hard time making…

Hi Angie! Basically if you like to ride a bike then count your minutes instead of your mileage. 21's are strength training but you don't have to do any strength training unless you want to. Lisa! I hope your ankle feels better soon. Try and not let it knock you off track.
