The panic attacks can be controlled by medications such as beta blockers ( i didnt find they helped me), my GP referred my to a clinical psychologist who took me through a CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy session) which taught me how to control them. I still get the odd one but can now sense when they are coming on and…

Yip, pay him to do the weights stuff, you don't need to be paying him to stand beside you whilst you run on treadmill. I do all my own cardio and do resistance with a trainer.
-
Please increase your calorie intake, 450 cals a day is not sustainable and shouldn't be a lifestyle
-
18mile run with no specific running training (just under 3 hrs so not the quickest I accept), part of a relay team, meant to do the first 6 miles of the marathon but managed 18 before the cold/sleet/ hailstones (I'm sure rain shouldn't hurt that much) got too much! Will maybe do the whole thing in Dublin in oct! Has…

Chanel 5 or chanel chance are my favs, not a guy but they have never complained!

How many cals are you eating? Are you getting a good mix of your macros?

Irish and northern Irish!
-
How often are you running and how long for? How did you feel after 10k and what was your time? How competitive are you? I would say if you re new ish to running it might be over ambitious but equally if our determined and competitive go for it!

5'8 and def an hourglass, 140lb ish Bust 35 Waist 35 Hips 36 Can't get that last inch off hips!!!
-
You need to eat more, you should not be surviving on approx 700 cals a day. Everyone is different but most need in excess of 1200cals a day and will still loose weight

Well said

no protein is good! unless you have some major health issues that is mfp always sets protein levels low, i aim for 1g of protein per 1lb lean body mass/ day (around 100-110g/day) and am always in the red unless your taking in ridiculously high amounts or have kidney probs i wouldn't stress!
-
Hi all 5"8 and 141 Waist 24 at smallest bit (25 at belly button) Hips 37"

Rather than having a break from mfp why not try eating maintenance for a week or two. You are probably at a healthy weight now anyway and eating some more calories, continuing to log and work out and not seeing the red for a bit may motivate you again. You can then resume and lose the last 3kg after that if you want to.…

bump, interested to see whats posted here. my waist is already 25" but would be interested to see how small it could go - i plan on carrying on with the gym training too!
-
I have a protein shake as soon as i finish in the gym, keeps me going til i've showered, got home and made dinner. Also boosts my protein intake! its all good!
-
welcome again! good luck with the journey, hope i can help/ support along the way!

fat2fit promote eating the number of calories for your desired weight (2800 in your case), the reasoning is that this will be your maintenance when you reach your goal. you can under-eat this by a couple of hundred cals if you wish to speed up the process but they have calculated a deficit (not sure how big the deficit is)…
-
I will be joining the 2k+ crowd, have been told to up my calories again by my PT, we had massive debate in the gym earlier, ended up involving multiple trainers and me having to promise to eat at least 2k cals a day from now on. They think I need to put on some weight! not sure about this but as i'm still losing on…

You could take some dried fruit or unsalted nuts good for snacking on at least. I've found at conferences that if its hot food provided i just eat the same as everyone else (sometimes choose the veggie option if the meat option is in a cream sauce, often there is salad and pass on dessert), if its a cold buffet (more…

had great nsv today, was training in the gym with my PT earlier when a random guy walked past and said to him "you've got her well toned!" made me slightly self conscious as i continued to lift but nice all the same
-
not re-racking weights and dropping them (don't mind once in a while if you genuinely struggle to finish the rep but not repeatedly!) if you can't set them down don't pick them up!
