  • Yes I thought of doing it when I first joined because I was a little overwhelmed but my first month seemed to go so fast and I was losing fast so I left it. Feb I slowed down a lot and honestly I reconsidered this lol ( great minds think alike right) but this morning my scale suddly dropped and my remaining goal seems…
  • My only symptoms were tiredness and I was very pale so not everyone has the same symptoms. I think how much you take depends on how low you are so I definitly would get your blood work done and talk to your doc about it. I also get copies of my blood tests and do my own research to back up anything the doc suggests.…
  • Yes, your symptoms sound like it but really get your blood work done so you know because the symptoms of iron deficiency can be similar to too much iron or other things.
  • Thats so great! I think its very important that we focus on knowing ourselves and what works for us while still being open minded enough to test things to see if they work for us or work for us now because we may have changed since the last time we tried. I toyed with this idea too in the begining but it just didnt seem to…
  • Thank you Banks.
  • I am not a big fan of people saying oh your in this range so your fine! I believe that symptoms are more important. What may be fine for someone else may cause symptoms in you. I had sub-clinical hypothyroid and every friggin doc i saw said i was normal. Even though I was putting on weight, exshausted, poor sleep, thin…
  • I don't call it a cheat because i'm not cheating its part of my plan ;) About once every 7 or 8 days I either go out to dinner or order in or eat something that I normally don't eat because I will go over calories or because its not healthy. I do not make a whole day of it because Its not worth it to undo the progress of…
  • OK I was on chat a while ago and it was fun. I did not save any of the info and now i cant get on again....can anyone help? Banks ? Anyone? TIA Sul
  • Hi I know this thread is a little old but I was looking for the chat thread and I found this instead... I got a used couch and tried fabreeze but the the scent was bad so I googled it and vodka seems to help because of the alcholol ..so I spritzd the couch with it and i swear it smelled better then the fabreeze. its still…
  • yes !I know its coming and I plan for it. I find if I have something sugary I crave more so I make my own homemade hot chocoate with stevia and its very satisfying. I probably have hot cocoa for a week or so in the evenings before my TOM and it really helps. I also let myself have extra cals and I rest more with long hot…
  • Ohhhh I love salt and vinegar on big thick french fries!! This looks like a great alternative.. thanks for posting it and 1/2 the fun will be experimenting ..that means I have to make more to test right :)
  • Lent is not in the Bible so yes it can and has been changed over time. The Sundays as "cheat" days is not meant as cheat..Sundays are supposed to be for celebrating so some people do not fast on Sundays. However some people do maintain the fast or whatever they are choosing to give up on Sundays.
  • I'm having thyme, garlic and lemon roast chicken and homemade gravy with a side salad. It gives me plenty of leftover chicken for the rest of the week.
  • yes! I am losing weight and at the moment I am not exercising and if i do its very very slow and gentle ( not many cals burned lol) its calories burned vs. calories consumed. If you are physically able though ex. makes it easier because you can eat more but you also get all the health benifits and will probably have more…
  • Its a good list but I have to disagree with this too..if i stay under my cals but go over protien I do not believe i will put on fat. It looks like maybe they mean any extra calories will turn to fat including protien. Also fat does not turn into muscle.
  • Nuts and nut butters are good. One treat I love is a peice of toast with peanut butter, honey and cocoa ..yummy and helps get in calories. smoothies can really pack in the cals escpecially if you add nut butters and good oils. I think its easier to drink your cals if your not hungry. olives with cheese and some bread and…
  • Ive been single for around 5 years by choice. right now I like being single. I like the freedom to do whatever i want and not concern myself with another person I can be very selfish and it wont hurt anyone else. I dont think V-day is a big deal at all and the last few years I have done absolutly nothing lol its just…
  • join the chat its fun!!! bump
  • Here is a copy of what I wrote on the other tread about the same thing. Actually I think goggle sends searches with bots or spiders they are called i think, and look for certain key words to know which adds to place here so the more you post about something the more ads of that come up. At least I think thats how it works.…
  • I don;t know who said this originally but a man at the company I work with said this "Don't be jealouse of what i reap if you are not willing to sow what i sow"
  • Well I would't remember it since Ive only been here slightly over a month and I bet lots of other people are new. I think this is a very good visual for everyone. Thanks for taking the time to post it.
  • OK I just got in and saw this recipe. I was having a hamburger for dinner so I took the top bun off and made it open faced so I had enough cals for this lol. I didnt let it set..just ate 2 tablespoonfuls out of the bowl...perfect dessert.. thank you
  • Your doing great just go back over to the wagon and get on lol. But really 40 lbs is awsome. Why not make your own cheese bugers? I'm having one tonight with lean beef, cheese and a whole wheat roll. I'm staying in my cals and making it healthier also. This is a lifestyle change so you definitly want to find a way to stay…
  • yes that looks like the bra I have! I liked it because I didn't have to have the strap so tight to keep it in place.
  • liver with sauteed onons, peppers and portobello mushroom.
  • I don't know if they still have them around but when I was a runner I used a polar sports bra that had slits in it to slide the strap in. I found it much more comfortable then just the strap alone.
  • yes ithere is a rule the post was probably removed. I reported it and I saw that a bunch of other people did as well.
