Heh...:drinker: OP, invest in a HRM. Over time you will get good at estimating and won't have to wear it as often (if you don't want to). HRM are awesome and they will make your estimates a lot more accurate.

Get a flash light and pepper spray!

I started with Jamie Eason's LiveFitTrainer. It's free - just google it. If you click on the exercise it will take you to bb . com and show videos of her doing them. It also has descriptions and suggestions for alternate exercises if you don't like the one she suggests. Seriously, check it out. It got me into the big boy…

I normally log things like that under "breakfast" on the next day. Sometimes after a long night of indulging in adult beverages I'll hit up McDonalds or something. I add it to breakfast so that I can get control over my calories. That way it's not under my "yesterday" tab and I convince myself to forget about it :)

Seconding the breakfast burrito idea! Gosh, I LOVE breakfast for dinner. I tend to go overboard with the breakfast comfort foods though. I enjoy vegetarian sausage patties (I'm not a veg, but they taste awesome), eggs and hash browns rolled up in a tortilla. I'll also throw in some bell pepper if I'm not tooooo lazy.

How DARE you call someone else's mother and idiot!? Who the hell do you think you are? She's asking for advice on a freaking shower not for people to judge her FAMILY. People grow up differently with different beliefs. That does not make them idiots. Anyway, I usually wait about 30 minutes because I drive to work after the…

Diet. What I eat is referred to as my diet. Gosh, I hate that saying.
-
You. I like you.

EAS Chocolate fudge. It's soy protein. I think it tastes good. I drink that rather than whey when I want fewer carbs.

I'm not sure what exactly the features are that you are looking for but do you want a GPS watch? My Garmin plugs into the computer and I can see a map of where I ran plus time, distance, pace, elevation, etc...

Oh man! Me and my boyfriend were driving back from the beach (about 9 hours). We stopped to get gas and there it was... Arby's. Man, I hadn't had Arby's in so long and just remembered the melty cheesy beefy goodnesss with the springy crunchy yet tender fries. I HAD to have it. My boyfriend had never had it and I convinced…

I eat it... then, if I eat a lot of it I normally feel crappy so it makes me realize that it's not worth it.
-
I've been called "solid" which, at the time I hated... now I'd take it as a compliment.
-
Haha, if that's the only "complaint" you have about loosing all of that weight I'd say you're in a good spot. Seriously, though - congrats! & buy a sweater.

If you're seriously doing Insanity you're going to need WAY more than 1200 calories. I'm more of a fan of logging my calories at TDEE. I still log my exercise and how long I did it but I just change my "calories burned" to "1". That way it only adds 1 calorie that I've "earned".

Sounds yummy. I don't like soy milk, especially in my "froofroo" drinks. YUCK.

I call my Fred. He's like a really good friend... always around when times get tough. (UHG) So, yeah food within 3 hours of running causes it with me. Also, if I haven't had enough water I get it. I also experimented with different breathing. A magazine said to try inhaling and exhaling on different feet. I don't know if…

I found Jamie Eason's Live Fit Trainer last year and after I was done with that I just kinda mimicked my plan after hers. When I feel bored I start it over again. You should google it... it's awesome. Currently, though: Mon - Chest/Tri Run Tue - Back/Bi Yoga Wed- Shoulders/abs Run Thurs- Legs Fri - Run Elliptical or walk…

Unless I'm running, yes. I'll do pull-ups at home but other than that I need to be in the gym. It's a motivation thing for me. I figure, I wasted 10 minutes driving there and I pay $25 a month for a membership. I might as well put forth some great effort.

I once had a friend who logged brushing her teeth... I had to break up with her haha. I wouldn't log it.... even if it was vigorous yard work. I just count those as bonus burns. :)

It's fine! Go for it.

I suffered so bad a few years ago that I thought that I was going to have to get out of the Marine Corps. What helped me get over it: - I put Super Feet Insoles in all of my shoes that they would fit in (minus my running shoes but that was just preference) - I massaged the SHAT out of it. Prop your foot on your knee, pull…

Get a heart rate monitor. That's probably high. No one here can tell you how many calories your burned... well, accurately anyway.
-
If you just started exercising then I would say this is normal. Monitor your calories. If you restrict too much and add on top of that a new workout schedule you'll definitely feel sluggish.
-
Oh, and to add to my post... I also worked out my back twice a week rather than once. I trained doing my pull-ups over hand to strengthen my back but do them under hand for my PFT.

lol wat? Coming from a fatty who lost 20lbs in boot camp - don't get discouraged and continue working towards your goal! Congrats on wanting to become one of the FEW and the PROUD. I agree with the statement that you should be in pretty good shape before shipping however, you most certainly are going to boot camp to get…

I log all my coconut vodka yumyumyum! I usually decide how much I'll drink before I go out.

I WANT TO TRY THAT NOMS SOOOOOOO BAD. You're mean for making my mouth water!
