  • Sorry you felt the need to re-post the first responses before the bullying. All of the posters here will ultimately make their own decisions. I am all for people giving real and sometimes even tough advice. I was simply commenting on the delivery. Perhaps some of the posters actually don't get out much and do get hurt…
  • Are you kidding me? I haven't read all (any) of your posts here so I can't accurately speak on what exactly it is you'd say in person. I'm just always amazed that people can be so fast to lash out at people on the internet. I have never met people like this in real life so I really can't believe that others here would say…
  • It's pretty sad to see adults that run from thread to thread to poke fun at people. If I were the OP I would be very hurt at the way some of you are answering. Remember, that not everyone knows as much as you do about diet/exercise. Some people become desperate because they feel like they have nowhere to turn. Some people…
  • OP, I don't like the nanos because they feel too hard on the bottom. I do like them if I know I'm not going to be doing and sprints, burpees, box jumps etc… because they are really sturdy! I ended up getting a pair of the sprints. They are AWESOME. They feel like pillows that are still sturdy enough to squat and do the oly…
  • You won't be in the gym long enough for the yogurt to go bad… Well, I say that, I'm in DC lol. I normally just make it and stick it in a cooler with an ice pack. I'm normally only there for 30-45 minutes.
  • Red Lobster's shrimp doesn't come from the sea? MUST GO EAT SHRIMP!
  • WOW! Looks delisshhhhhh! I probably wouldn't attempt the whole thing but I want some noms off of it!
  • I've only made it a couple of times in my adult life but definitely white rice mixed with white gravy. I grew up in a lower income household. Also, those little oven pizzas… I can't recall the brand right now.
  • I have been going for about 9 months and I am just now RXing MOST of the WODs. 5 times a week seems pretty intense to me! Maybe because I also do other activity outside of that. But, if you're feeling dead trying bumping up the calories. I know when I start something new like that my body goes through "breakdown" phase…
  • Thank you guys for the all of the responses (and the awesome link)! I really need to come to terms that I just really need to work on my mobility, especially in my hips. When I first started I could barely do an air squat. Now, that's how I warm up before runs! I also do the thing where you squat down, grab your toes and…
  • Hey, I feel you. I CAN cook. I just HATE cooking. It's stressful at the end of the day. Do they have Custom Fit Meals in your area? I give them a go every few weeks. They are freshly made and you pick them up twice per week. They are never frozen are "clean" pre-portioned meals. Pop them in the microwave for 3 minutes and…
  • I started by picking up heavy things and then setting them down. Seriously, though. Google Jamie Eason's Live Fit Trainer.
  • Pool is your best bet. Also, you need to focus on rehabbing it more than what exercises you can do. If you don't nip it in the bud it will continue to get worse. Stretching. Massage. FOAM ROLLER. Ice.
  • Are you new to running? Feet/ankle ice baths :) It sucks but it's amazing at the same time.
  • I'm sorry for your loss :(
  • Just did this yesterday! Back Squat - 135 Strict Press - 85 Deadlift - 215
  • Welcome to the dark side. There's no going back.
  • I know my box is awesome. I know I personally do not let my form suffer to get more reps. I drink some damn water. I look damn good. HATRZ GON HATE
  • Did the Murph with a bunch of Marines at work. I finished in 1:02. ….I'm still sore
  • I had to up my calories recently because I would get done with work and just want to sleep. I think you should make an effort to up them even by just a couple hundred. Then, see how you feel. It could be a quick fix. Good luck and thanks for what you do :flowerforyou:
  • WHAT!? A "GOOD" running store will want you to have what's right for you at a price that works for you. Totally disagree.
  • Definitely didn't read all the replies but a good way to save some money is to 1. look for a previous year's model of the one you need. 2. get the brand/model you need and get them at a DSW or online at Amazon.
  • Nope. It takes a couple of adjustments to get them just right but I've never had that problem. I mean, the elastic isn't SUPER stretchy. Just enough to let your feet move how they need to. Plus, it's pretty awesome being able to just slip them on and off. I would say try them out at least once. Never had an issue with them…
  • That's a pretty demanding schedule. I know a big part of it is you just being mentally exhausted. However, are you sure you're eating enough? That could be a big factor in this whole tiredness issue. You're probably doing way more than you realize as a nurse. Also, why don't you try going for a quick walk or jog in the…
  • You could definitely be lacing them too tight. I have the stretchy laces that you never have to tie in all of my shoes. I used to get a pain on the top of my foot while running because of this very reason. Also, Brooks is pretty much the top level of cushioning you can get in a shoe. If you want a lot of cushioning then…
  • Also, I'd like to add that you probably don't need to "change your attitude towards food". Geeze, people.
  • I don't trust places that make drinks for me… hell, I barely trust them with my food. For example, when at Starbucks I always tell them how many pumps of whatever syrup to use and then I watch them do it. I make sure they are actually using what I tell them (i.e. sugar free syrup or skim milk). I don't play around with…
