Awesome response. And of course, I agree with the last statement whole-heartedly. I'll never cut out alcohol completely, but I certainly keep it in check! Again, thanks for the info!

Lol! My thoughts (regarding carb content) exactly! Nice to hear a confirmation. As for your opinion: dismissed-on-sight! My manhood doesn't depend on the alcohol I drink. :drinker:

Haha!

...I think to myself, "Good for you. I hope you'll keep it up!" Of course, it's superfluous to care about what other people think as you're exercising. The only time you should care is if someone comes up in the gym and says, "Hey, your form could use some work..." and then proceeds to teach you proper form. Other than…

Sittin' pretty on a 1280-calorie diet at the moment! I usually ingest between 2000 and 2500 calories though, because I work my *kitten* off with exercise! It's weird to be a guy eating so few calories though...but I want to drop the weight fast so...whatever it takes!

I'm 28 as well and started with a goal to lose 60 lbs--from 225 lbs to 165 lbs. So far, I'm 35 lbs down! So, you can do it! Just STICK WITH IT even and especially on the days when you don't wanna! And hey, here's a great tip: on the days when you say to yourself, "I've been really good lately, I deserve a day off!"--DON'T…

Yuck.

The worst breakfast is NO BREAKFAST. You should try to eat a big breakfast full of protein--eggs, steak, bacon, peanut butter, milk, etc.--every morning, a medium-sized lunch where you get your nutrition--salad, fruit, some chicken--, and a small dinner--veggies, lean meats. The purpose of that big breakfast is the same as…

I've done both...and Ripped in 30 is superior! =D I'd recommend 30DS to beginners, and Ripped in 30 to those who have completed 30DS. I'm in my second month of Ripped in 30, and for March, I'm going to double them up--Ripped in 30 followed by 30DS six days a week! >=D

Yes, I track EVERY SINGLE THING as best I can. If I pop a single M&M, I log it!

PLEASE stop posting this over and over again! :grumble:

Clarification: when I say, "Yes, do all the reps!" I mean, do as many as you can as fast as you can with perfect form each time. So if you go a little slower than the girls, that's fine--as long as you are always moving, always pushing, always striving!
-
YES!! Even if I did the "beginner" version, I always do ALL THE REPS EVERY TIME. It's the only way you get better. And each day, you push yourself to improve your form, get deeper into the movement, whatever it is...but as Jillian says, ALWAYS KEEP MOVING!! I'm into Ripped in 30 now (second month in a row) and it's even…

YES!! Commie. ;)

I worked night shift for over 3 years (and on and off for three years before that). Really, it's very simple: get on a schedule, make your own snacks and lunches for work, and workout consistently. For example.... I used to work an 11:30 to 7:30 shift. So, every day, no matter HOW TEMPTING it was to stay up all day and…

You should eat. Typically, when I totally blow an early meal like breakfast or lunch, I try to lighten up on the remaining meals--but I NEVER let myself get that rumbly hungry feeling. It's very important to satiate hunger, even if you've overeaten earlier in the day. People mistakenly think that when they don't eat, it'll…

As a guy? Let me help out my brethren and tell you that if he's cute, and kind, sleep with him! As for the others...well, I've never been the others (because they piss me off) and so I don't know what women do to get rid of them. I guess look 'em in the eye and tell them to back off.

Coffee (low on sugar and cream), tea, milk, and MAYBE Tropicana orange juice. Everything else--juice, diet soda, soda!, Gatorade, etc....don't even go there! :drinker:
-
Good luck! I completed 30 Day Shred back in November. I just started my second month in a row of Ripped in 30, six days in now (or 36 days in, depending on how you want to look at it!). Again, good luck, don't quit, get it finished!

No, they don't HAVE to, but they SHOULD!! Favorite quote regarding this subject: "You would agree by-and-large that all vegetarians are communists, wouldn't you?" -Denny Crane, *Boston Legal* Man up. Eat meat!

WATER!! TONS OF IT!! And a freakin' Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger from Jack in the Box either before or after the drinking session, then a good breakfast the next morning. And I prepare: I don't go drinking unless I can sleep in late the next day!
-
I'v done the 30-Day Shred and Ripped in 30: they are FANTASTIC alone, but if you really want some great results, I'd advise you to go for at least a 30-minute walk every day immediately after the workout. Increase your pace as time goes on, but just get out there and walk. It's a simple addition with excellent results!…

Water is the only thing that counts as water. Coffee, tea, Gatorade, soda...all of these things have water in them, but they DO NOT count as going towards your 8 cups of water per day. For that, you need straight, pure water. That info is from fitness experts and my college chemistry teacher.

Excellent! Inspirational for two reasons. First, seeing your weight loss results reminds me it's possible to get to my goal weight, too! Second, attracting beautiful and fit girls like YOU is part of why I want to lose the weight in the first place! :flowerforyou:
