LOVE this! A couple that goes through this type of journey together, stays together! (I'm just guessing... hahahha, but it sounds good!) What way to bring a relationship closer than fighting this fight!!  Y'all look awesome! Keep up the great work!

GO GIRL! Annnnnnnnd that's exactly why one shouldn't put so much stock into the number on the scale! You look MUCH lighter in the 2014 pic. I would've guessed your weight was the other way around. So toned and fit!!! Amazing! Very proud to have you as my friend! Always such an inspiration!

Woohooo!!! You rocked it out! Good job sticking out the weather and cramping! And to be sick too! Congrats!! ????????

Ditto.

Paying more for a single size portion is well worth the higher price! I am no good with a bag of chips.

Indulge in food and exercise everyday. :-)

Same as what's been stated. For a long while I ran comfortably at whatever pace suited me (maybe an 11-12:00 pace). I was ecstatic to make any mile under 11:00 and never dreamed I could even run a 9 minute mile. I just never knew I could get faster with proper training. One race, I decided I wanted to improve my time so…

If you have the room, ok! You're in your calorie range. If weight maintenance is your main goal, then, don't sweat it. If you have some other health issues that cause you to worry about your sugar levels, then ok. Keep that in check.

I don't know what you mean by culinary obsessions. One could be obsessed with it all!

Well GO GIRL! Congrats on your success!! Keep on doing what you're doing!!!:glasses:

Hmmm. Difficult. But you can make it work for you. There's a way! EIther: 1. Get to find out the days he tends to bring around these meals he wants to enjoy with you. Make it one or a few times a week where you can work out your meals for the day. Eat your light meals early in the day so you can enjoy his meal! Or if he…

I was going to say... I don't have a big breast but I do have two  I kid. Then I read that this is your 3rd language... sooo... I'll just shut up. :smooched: (your English is probably better than my... whatever your native tongue is!) Champion has fairly priced sports bras ($20-$30) with great support. Try at…

Indeed. It's so mild in flavor that it would be awesome as your traditional "starch" of your meal. Even if you dry roast it without any fat, it tastes nutty and delicious.

It doesn't matter that much to me, except when randoms are sending friend requests to me and I have no idea what they're about. Anyone could lie on line, but it's also easy to sign up for a random social networking site to SPAM people.

My ideal is whatever fits! I hate shopping sometimes because I'm a petite woman (I say woman, not teen!) and sometimes I have to shop in the darn Junior's department. Who am I kidding, I shop there a lot. Things fit me there. A lot of petite sized women clothing fits me fine too, but I'm not exactly rocking the granny…

More comfort food I made on a cold day: Sinigang (Filipino sour tamarind based broth soup with pork and veggies)
-
Finally. Some comfort food I've made in the past few days! Pansit (Filipino rice noodle dish)

Yum!! Ok. I'm trying this again.

Oops. Trying to figure out the links.

Ditto to this.

Don't worry about how your time stacks up. Unless you run a 12 to 13 minute 5k and hold a record, "good" is all relative.

I started running in college simply to lose weight. This was back in the day when there was no C25k and the internet was still fairly new, (yes, I'm dating myself! LOL), so there was not much information out there for beginners. I didn't care about pace, time, etc. Just went out there and put one foot in front of the…

I currently live in the U.S. Born in The Philippines and visit there every few years. Also lived in Japan. Traveled to: England France Spain Italy Greece Costa Rica Mexico Netherlands Turkey Morocco Greece Israel Jordan Egypt I think that's it. For now at least. :-)

Yep. Show it off! As if weight loss and getting fit isn't hard enough, you also overcame great adversity. Congrats to you!
-
Go girl! Go on with ya bad self! Lookin' good!
-
Wow! Congrats on your loss and turning your health around! You look awesome!

I'm set to 2000 calories. I try not to eat above that (most days) as I've estimated it as my TDEE for the past few years on maintenance. I'm a petite person but I run quite a bit. Have been slacking on the strength training though. I keep saying I want to get to the lower end of my weight range and reduce body fat (to get…

People can be mean! I was at my heaviest as a teen, so I got the worst comments from mean kids. The worst was when the mean boys would say "Here comes the Little Teapot, short and stout!". (I'm 4'10"). Not nice at all. That was years ago though.

Sorry I don't know too much about the races in WA, but Pike's Peak brings chills up my spine! That is one tough race! But I'm sure it would be amazing to finish it.

^^This!!   I love me some cheese... goat cheese, brie, feta, gouda, aged cheddar, curry cheddar, pepperjack.... ohhhhh the list goes on. I often have threesomes with cheese, wine, and crackers for dinner. We're not stressing over monogamy here.
