what is a "few" days? one day, as in 24 hours, would be fine. 4 days would be damaging and just whack.

you seem to be missing my point.........I AM talking about "a parent who is REALLY cracking the whip" (your words) as in a race or training for a race. I am not saying the OP would do this but he asked if it was ok for his 9 yr old to train with him. I never said dont do it.

Im gonna be blunt here I looked at the last few days of your food diary and you eat a lot of CRAPPY food fries and chips and just junk you are not ready to think about cutting or bulking until you clean up your food choices

1700 may sound like a lot compared to 1200 but it really isn't. 1200 is very LOW 1700 is a good number for your body size and you will lose weight at a safe and comfortable rate. try to look at the 1700 number in a more positive light rather than comparing it to 1200.

sometimes I wonder if a virus has invaded the users here. It's like brainwashing with all these people who think "lifting heavy" is the only way to go. lifting heavy is great but NO WAY is it the only way to go. Beginners here, are "lifting heavy" with body weight exercises.

my experience is that people who bash it are people who have not actually tried it it is a complete exercise routine that includes cardio, weight lifting and stretching for the "lift heavy" crowd, P90X can be a lift heavy routine if you want to lift heavy, It is a challenging work out and takes significant commitment but…
