  • Hello! Welcome to MFP.... I think this is a great site. Its a real eye opener, to how much calories we are/can consume, and how much is burnt off with exercise! Good luck with your journey!!! Will add you. Cheers
  • I was wondering about protein shakes as well.... Thanks Peanut Butter junkie for a bit of insight. :D
  • Good on you for having a goal and a date! I can sympathise with you on the whole kids and flabby tummy thing! and I think its great how you have a kind of 'reward' thing with the getting your hair done or new phone-reward. That's a great incentive i reckon. Good luck with getting to your goal! You'll feel great when you…

(sometimes with canned peaches/apricots) Lunch…

  • Oh dear... I love fruit.... eat lots of it daily (5+ a day!) I do know its full of fructose... but I would rather munch on grapes, apricots, apples, bananas, plums, pears, etc.... than on crackers, chips, bikkies etc... less than healthy foods which I also do enjoy..... so I choose fruit! No fat! and relatively lower in…

  • Congrats for still losing!! haha! I am unsure why this (losing weight whilst eating more calories than burned) happens. For me, in the past I may have eaten lots one week, but had no change on the scales... but the next week I may weigh more. Or one week I may do lots of exercise, but the scales may weigh more,.... then…
  • How about changing some of the foods you are eating? Try some different foods (that are low calories). An example may be... try eating soup, instead of sandwiches. Soup high in water and vegetable content may fill you up faster, and could be lower in calories? You could try having oat porridge (no sugar, no milk) just made…
  • Hi! I am a breast feeding mother as well; baby is 5 months old. (plus i have 3 older children too) Could you possibly change what you are eating to more healthier foods, and consume less fatty/salty/sugar-laden foods? That way you still would be eating lots of food to fill you up, and eating less high calorie foods! Could…
