Welcome back. :) You'll do great. Realize it's a whole life change, and it's not going to be easy.... BUT you can do it!!!

If it's zero calories, I challenge you to find natural ingredients in it. Low-cal (or in this case, no cal) does not necessarily mean healthy. It's probably mostly chemical. and yes, no one is telling me to eat it... but this is an open site where we encourage people to be healthy, right? There's NOTHING healthy about…

Well, here's me: I'm a runner and a lifter. I eat well (and alot) of a variety of things, watching my carbs (and what kind of carbs), fat, sodium, etc. However, I eat more than chicken breasts and steamed broccoli. I have decided that my lifestyle is going to consist of feeding real food to my real family, so why not learn…

There's a New Rules of Lifting for Women group on here. I suggest joining it. I'm doing the program as well (and loving it) and stick to about 1900 cal a day (when I can...). Some days I can't eat that much, and other days I'm wanting to eat more. I just make sure my days balance out. :)

Too cold at 50??? lol I just ran this morning at 20-something, and it was wonderful!

Oh goodness.... I eat all of those delicious meals! If those are "bad" for me, then I eat horribly! I don't eat "diet" foods and I don't think anyone should if this is intended to be a lifestyle. Steak and curry and roasts are not bad for you!

Your story may not be finished, but honestly, whose is? Something changed though, and made you decide to make that change...

My husband has been a great runner and always done really well road-racing. However, he's done the Spartan Sprint, the Hero's Rush, and the Spartan Beast now, and he LOVES them way more than road-racing because it's a full-body workout, it's much less "boring", and it's super-fun. We're doing the Ragnar Relay (200-mile…

Hi! I'm 5' 2.5" (I like to say 5'3" but my husband disagrees lol) and I weigh 115. I don't know how well you'd be able to see from my pictures 'cause those are from when I was 110ish but I can add some new pics later if you wanna be friends. Just remind me to add the pics if you don't see them pop up today or tomorrow. :)

Check out the group Eat More to Weigh Less. They've broken it down really well, and it's been quite a change for me (in a great way!)

Try the Middle Eastern spice za'atar. In 2 tbsp, you get 160% of your iron. I'm anemic, so I'm with you, always trying to increase my intake.

Here's the thing: Externals are going to fade with age anyway... nothing against those who are older but we will never stay looking like we do now. So, with externals being so temporal, why not? It's not like it's really HIM who is disfigured. It's his shell. I would hope that no one would avoid being my friend because of…

Oh, I totally hear you! I was just asked yesterday if I could even shop in the women's section, or if I had to shop in the kids' section. WHAT??? lol People do not take into account that 1) Short people can weigh less 2) Skinny does not equal healthy 3) Our culture has made fat normal, and obese "chubby"
