awesome, thank you so much, everyone!!! i know that a proper diet and exercise is the only real way to get this done but sometimes i just get sucked into these magical ideas. haven't tried one yet and now i definitely won't be trying sensa. thanks for helping me get my mind back on track!

You should not just stop logging and try to be 'more conscious' of what you are eating and exercising. You are trying to do something for you and your health, your partner should appreciate that. He should want you to be happy and he should support you in whatever you choose to do. This isn't some fad diet or something…

the way i see it, a compliment is a compliment. there are always going to be creeps who say them with ulterior motives. but unless i get a really strong vibe that that is what's happening, i just smile and say thanks.

I think it's mostly a personal decision. I was a lacto/ovo vegetarian for a little over a year. I did have moral hang-ups and that was my reason for the change.
