I've actually only been out once this summer, mostly because I'd rather ride with a friend than by myself. I'm hoping to get out riding on Monday since it's a holiday & will be cooler next week, maybe I can get out a few times this fall.

I have a Zephyr HxM heart rate monitor, & I use it with my Android phone, it syncs with both MFP & Endomondo. I've had no problems with it & definitely recommend it.

I know I don't eat enough fruits & veggies, so I take a women's multivitamin & a chewable vitamin c, & I also take a calcium chew since I very rarely drink milk.

I think I've heard of that for some reason, but I agree, it sounds gross. And wouldn't it just melt once you fry it? So doesn't that just leave you with some buttery-tasting fried batter, with nothing left inside?

I've hardly ever had it lose connection, usually the only time it's done that for me is if I switch between wifi & mobile data & stop my workout before it re-establishes the connection. I have a Polar but didn't like having to wear a watch, I did some more research & bought a Zephyr HRM that just uses a chest strap & send the info. to my phone & MFP, & the battery is rechargeable. I love it & like it a lot better than the Polar.

There are a few reduced fat cheeses in the grocery store - you can buy the Laughing Cow wedges if you want a creamy cheese, but there are also reduced fat shredded cheeses that are actually pretty good. Depending on your grocery store you may have to look harder to find them, but they're out there.

Wow, I didn't read through all of these (no time) but it's good to see that some people - including men! - actually get it. Marriage takes effort by both parties, and if both people aren't willing to work at keeping it together, it falls apart.

That's a good question - you can be obvious, but to some men you might come across like you're chasing the guy. I only record it in MFP weekly (first thing in the morning, like others said), and even then, I only record if there was a loss. If I'm curious enough at any other time to weigh myself, I don't record it.

Looks like some people lost quickly, & some lost / are losing slower - but WOW everyone, it's so encouraging to see all these losses - fast or slow it's all awesome as long as we lose it & keep it off!!!! Great job, everyone!!! :flowerforyou: :drinker:

I started tracking here Sept. '12, I recorded my first loss on 9/9/12 so it's taken me roughly 11 months to lose 70 lbs.
