Personally, I didn't care for the language. It was a little over the top. I don't offend really easily, but I thought the approach was overdone.

I just set my goal to lose 10 pounds by July 1st. I am saving the latest Athleta catalog so I can order some new workout clothes WHEN (not IF) I reach that goal.

I had to fast for a day for blood tests. The earliest they could test me was 3:30 in the afternoon. NO WAY could I go a whole day fasting on a weekly basis. My head was killing me. Plus, I'd wind up friendless. I was VERY grumpy. :angry:

My son actually requested that we toss the junk food and not buy any at all any more. I'm very proud of him. :heart:

How did everybody do today? I hit the gym and was only over on my calories by little bit. I have decided to save a catalog from Athleta and as my reward on July 1st I can order some stuff out of it as long as I reach my goal. Hope everyone had a great day and as for tomorrow - well, TGIF! :smile:

I CANNOT eat for at least 2 hours before a major cardio session. I usually feel like I want to puke, but if I eat, I actually WOULD puke, and that is generally frowned upon at my gym. :sick: I try to eat right after, though.

I have not intentionally done this, but have made a friend on this site who lives fairly local. We did get to meet once and go on a hike and had a fun time. We're still friends on here and on Facebook. So, I think it could be a very good idea.

I won't name the brand, but a neighbor hosted a party where you could buy a weight loss shake for a mere $300. You replace 2 meals a day with this shake. Um, I think it's been done. It's called Slim Fast, and it's a whole lot cheaper and it doesn't work, because as soon as you go off it, you gain back the weight.
