Back on MFP after a long haitus. Trying to get back into the shape I was in in my profile picture. Always looking for more friends!

Meal timing is irrelevant. As long as you get your macronutrients in at some point in the day then you will be fine. I tend to get all of my protein from meals. The meal that gives me the most is usually in the night when I get home from work and the gym and I have time to cook up some chicken etc. Protein shakes can be…

My big tip would be don't eat back exercise calories. You can easily overeat if you do that. Don't let increases on the scales worry you. Your weight can fluctuate. If you have to weigh yourself all the time, do it every morning and average it out for the week to accurately measure your losses. P.s. feel free to add me.

Take a look at one of my profile pictures. It shows how my face changed over my weight loss (and a few years).

Yeah don't swim until you are comfortable. I for one, don't go swimming when I am out of shape so I feel your pain. You can train in sweat pants and a hoodie if you want. A lot of people do.

I eat it all the time. It is a really good meal on the go option.

The fact that people always get this wrong on here gives me the ****s!

Went to America for a three month holiday. Ate everything in sight and drank almost daily. Had the time of my life but gained about 15kg (30lbs) in the process... Wouldn't do it any other way though.

I haven't read it. I will tell you what... it is soooo disturbing seeing old women reading that on my train to work. Damn....

NSW guy here. Any Aussies can add me. I am back with a vengeance to cut away all the holiday fat that I gained!

Bring on the Mankini!

People don't respond to my posts on threads because they hate the fact that I debunk the general BS spat out in women's magazines and on this forum.

23 here. Add me :)

If you are a guy, the bodybuilding community recommends losing 1.5-2lbs per week. Any more and you risk losing muscle mass along with the fat. Stick at around that and you will be sweet! As for weight loss: It will slow down when you hit around 15% body fat. At that point, you look good enough to not really care anyways.

I lost 4 pounds in one week. I know it was just water weight as I have done this before.
-
Are you male or female? Either way, that rate of loss is just fine. When you start off, you lose water weight from increased sodium and carb consumption. Expect fast losses initially. Make sure you are doing some sort of weight training and keep up what you are doing. Losses are guaranteed.

I drink black coffee. Just artificial sweetener to get used to the taste.

Its all diet. Its all about maintaining a calorie deficit. This can be done through eating less or exercising more. Whatever you choose is entirely up to you.

Hey feel free to add me. I have low carbed before and lost 70 pounds. I am back from America and I am back on the low carbing to lose the 30 pounds I gained. My meals are pretty boring because I am in between moving houses currently but they get better. You can go back to eating carbs when you are at your maintenance. Just…

Its all diet. If you cant exercise, control your caloric intake carefully and you will still lose weight. All cardio does from a weight loss perspective is burns calories. You can either exercise calories off or eat less. I have lost over 20lbs without even doing cardio.

England. As long as its the nice English accent.

You can eat whenever you want. Cals in v cals out. I often eat at midnight.
