Crazy! I'm 5'8" and weighed in at 187 a couple of days ago. I'm anywhere between a 10 and a 14... so let's say I'm a comfortable 12.

Why are you guys hating on ice chips?! Seriously! I love me some good crushed ice! (no joke, some friends bought me a giant bag if crushed ice for my birthday in high school). But I do also love frozen grapes. I personally prefer the green variety, but I like the sourness.

We mostly do salmon. Spray a little olive oil out of my Misto, add some lemon pepper (no salt!!), garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley and pop it in the oven until it's done. Or raw... can't go wrong with a sake/hamachi sashimi plate!!

I foam roll too but also I found that adding glutamine to my water helps too. I actually haven't had to touch my foam roller since I started back with my trainer.

Cutting out gluten worked for me too. I used to go several days in between and ever since I cut out the gluten I've been incredibly regular. The fiber added cereals and dessert cakes just make me super gassy, honestly. I took probiotics for a while but once I stopped taking them, it took a few months for my body to be able…

This is great! I've been doing the Walk to Mordor for over a year (I'm very slow lol). and have gone 893 miles. That puts me between Rivendell and Lothlorien! (I'll reach Lothlorien at 920 miles)

When I'm sick, I resort back to my old staples: Lots of chicken soups (noodle, dumpling, whatever) but I make sure they're the light versions, and a ton of orange juice and gatorade if I have a fever. I know I'm feeling better when I start craving other things

I haven't been able to do brown rice consistently yet. I'll try it for a couple of weeks and then give up. We bought some brown and wild rice yesterday so we're going to give it another go and try it tonight.

I have completely been in your shoes (minus the baby part, soon though!!). I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism at 19 after going from 115 lbs to 185 lbs in about 6 months. There were other issues going on to but I'm sure you're perfectly aware of all of those fun things. I've yo-yo'd back and forth, my heaviest being about…

I HATE going to the gym. I'm always concerned that I'm one of those people not doing something right, but instead of offering help, strangers are secretly video taping me and putting it on the internet. I started going ridiculously early, up at 4:30 AM to be there by 5 AM. There are VERY few people there and the ones that…

I started running with my dog a couple of years ago. We were doing really well until one day he got spooked and crossed my path; I went off of the curb and sprained my ankle. I'm not a very strong runner and was paying more attention to myself than the dog, that was my mistake. Just be careful.

I went to my trainer on Tuesday and did about 100 squats throughout my workout. By Thursday, I had trouble sitting on the toilet, let alone walking up and down stairs. When I went back to my trainer Thursday night she asked if it hurt or if it was pulled, I said hurt, she said do more squats. By Saturday I was running up…

I'm super boring and have the same thing every day. I keep pre-cooked chicken strips in the freezer at work so I bring a large green salad with some avocado on it and just throw some of that chicken on there. Sometimes I'll "mix it up" by bringing whatever I have in the fridge that might go well. Like today, I had some…

Don't worry about the scale, seriously. I know it's a hard thing to do, but if you put too much emphasis on what you see on the scale then you'll drive yourself crazy! I used to do it and it was always what lead me to giving up. Let me explain what JUST happened to me, 15 minutes ago: We have a Wellness program at work and…

Levothyroxine 125 mcg/day Liothyronine 10 mg Twice/day Zyrtec And on work out days, I usually take 2 Advil before bed

I too swear by Glutamine. But I use 1 scoop in my water while at the gym, 1 scoop in my recovery drink after and 2 scoops throughout the day on the day after (I do boot camp 3 days a week so I'm not working out heavily every day). I also put a banana in my recovery drink to help with my shin splints and leg cramps. Good…

If consistency is a problem for your family (it is for mine), try ground chicken instead. If you grocery store doesn't sell ground chicken, you can purchase some chicken breasts and most stores will grind it for you for free. My husband also has issues with the color sometimes so if I'm making burgers I throw some low…

Yes! I normally don't let it bother me becuse I know it will be gone in a few days BUT we are in a weight loss competition at work, it ends tomorrow and we have to weigh in tomorrow and I started my monthlies yesterday. So even though I've been in 1st place for 50 days (!!) those 2 pounds are going to cost me the…

Personally, I go through stages. I always include it into my diary but sometimes I don't see a difference in my weight loss and other times I do. If I hit a stall, I stop drinking again and my weight loss usually picks back up. I've learned to deal with it, but summer is going to be hard!!

SWTOR killed SWG and I will NEVER forgive it for that. I consider myself a well rounded enthusiast of all things eccentric. Star Wars (at the top of that list!), DW, Firefly, GoT, HP, LoTR (re-reading the hobbit right now). I pride myself in my SW extended universe knowledge and I really hope that Disney doesn't screw all…

Like most people have said, I plan out my food choices ahead of time and log them in for the day as soon as I get to work in the morning so I don't have any surprises. That being said, weekends have always been difficult for me. BUT we rescued a new dog last week and this weekend, everytime I sat down to eat, she would sit…

This happened to me yesterday!! I was so pissed.. then I decided to make baked potatoes for dinner and turned them into nachos.
