sjohnny - True, but she is asking for an alternative to what she has been doing. If I eat a high calorie/carb dinner, especially late, I gain. If I dont, I lose or maintain. This may also work for her. Pretty simple.

I agree with this. I eat most of my calories for breakfast, lunch and after workout snack and eat a very light dinner. I also eat dinner no later than 6 PM. That helped me reached my goal weight. I leave "1 lb to go" on my counter because there is always "1 lb to go." You hit your goal, then splurge 1 meal a week and it is…

Salt, pepper,…

If trying to lose weight, dont eat any back. If trying to gain muscle/tone, eat them back if you can. This is what my trainer has suggested. There seems to be a lot of different opions on this.

You dont need to be fat or look fat to have a high body fat %. I was 30 lbs overweight but did not exercise at all for years. My body fat % started out at 44% which I believe is correct. I have been exercising for 9 months now, lost 32 lbs and body fat is down to 34%. My trainer states it will take another 9 months to get…

Fire which in itself is not an irrational fear; however, 24/7 I think I smell smoke or hear crackling of fire so I run around the house making sure nothing is on fire. It is exhausting. Stems from childhood after seeing neighbor's house go up in flames with people jumping out windows and then a few years back 4 houses down…

I bench 50 lbs (plus 15 lb bar) doing 3 sets of 10 and have only been at the gym for 9 months. Honestly I am the only woman in my gym who bench presses. works for me and my trainor (a female) did show me proper form so no issues. Arms look awesome, not manly. Will post pics soon. Go for it!
