I found that if you gradually build up to the getting up early it really helps. I started by setting my alarm 5 minutes early and did some yoga stretches in that 5 minutes then a few weeks later I changed to 10 minutes earlier and so on. Your body does get used to it and I find the gradual changes are much easier to…

What a delightful post. I hope you have a marvellous day and really enjoy your new gym membership. Good luck with the dieting. xx

I went to the movies the other week and took a bag of grapes. They are small so no one really noticed I wasn't eating lollies and because they are sweet I felt I got my sugar fix as well. I found I really didn't mind not having the chocolate and popcorn as long as I snacked on something. :)

Good luck with the weight loss. I would also suggest a pair of slimming pants if you don't manage to loose it all in the 30 days. I wear them on special occasions and they really do flatten the stomach and suck everything in a whole lot tighter.

I developed tendonitis after picking up my friends toddler in an awkward way and it took a couple of months to heal as the tendons are very delicate. I suggest you have a talk to your doctor about it if it goes on for more than a few days. I bought a support strap that places pressure on the tendon and relieves the tension…

Hi Krista, I say 'Good On You for coming onto this site and just seeing how things go'. Everyone on this site is keen to live a healthier lifestyle, be it losing weight, becoming more active or simply by eating better. People are very enthusiastic and supportive and I think if you need the support system you will find it…

I am in the same boat. I have cut back on my social activities over the past few months but still try to get out at least one night a week to see friends if the opportunity arises. I am keeping Saturday as my 'FUN' day where I allow myself a little alcohol and some naughty food but I also ensure I do a good work out on…

I ride 8 miles twice a day and it takes me about 30mins for each ride. At an old job where we didn't have showers I used baby wipes if I was particularly sweaty. I think it a great idea as it helps me to achieve my daily exercise quota and I feel so much more awake at work. Good luck. :)

I make a lovely salmon dip with creamed cheese, fresh salmon and dill. Just blend it all up and serve with vegie sticks and crackers. It is always a huge hit.

You can definitely do this. Just take one day at a time and build up gradually. You will be amazed at your own will power. Good on you for getting to this point already. Good Luck :)

I borrow calories if I know I am going out for dinner or meeting a friend for lunch. I look at the total daily intake rather than each individual meal and it is working for me. Although if you don't fancy doing that you can always skip the popadoms or rice with your curry. :)

Hi Katie Lou, I live in London and have been on MFP for almost a month. I think it is brilliant as well. I am having a difficult time with the curbing of the eating but it is getting easier. I have some nice recipes I can send your way too. :) Mel :)

Hi Kat, Good for you for making the change. I too have issues with the old chocolate but I find if you let yourself have a little now and then you don't crave it so much. I have taken to smelling it for a minute or so before hand as well which seems to help me not to over indulge. Yes I have my bad days where I have a blow…

I am definitely in as well :)

Hi, I find exactly the same thing. I have started to keep some nuts by my desk especially for the afternoon to nibble on every half an hour or so. Mind you I bring a small number of nuts, not the whole bag, so I don't pig out. I have also tried to eat my Low Glycemic foods like porridge to keep me fuller for longer. It is…
