It was roughly the weight that I was, when I was a lot slimmer. It's also right in the middle of the healthy BMI range, and is also in the middle of the "ideal" weight for my frame. And also it's a round number, I figured it would be good to start off with. Maybe when I get closer to my goal weight I will readjust, however…

Stomach, by far. Also my arms.

I broke a plateau by upping my cals a little bit and I completely changed my exercise routine - and bam, suddenly my weight was going down again. :)

I still weigh myself daily since I've started, unless there has been some sort of reason like not being able to get to my scale. I always weigh in the morning as well. If I weighed myself weekly then I know for certain that I would probably get lazy and stop this change of lifestyle altogether. A week is way too long.…

I recorded my freestyle as that. Just was hoping that there would be a more accurate way to record it. Thanks anyway. :)

My goal weight is roughly 135lbs. Any lower I find too unrealistic for me.

Thanks. :) You're very right. Looking back upon since I've started and I'm already impressed how much I've lost, I shouldn't be worrying about this.

I've noticed I have dropped a centimetre or two, so I guess you might be right. I guess I'll wait and see if I lose any more. :) So I guess I will switch my routine starting this week, especially cos knowing me I'll probably get sick of the gym soon but then probably want to go back a couple of months later. :)

I'm about 5'5" and trying to lose about 37 pounds (I think, I usually use the metric system). :) Added you. Anyone else please add me!

Thanks. :)

This point has probably been mentioned before, but I guess it depends on what is classified as a "fight". In terms of what I consider a "fight", I have never fought with my boyfriend (of nearly 3 years). We have had arguments, yes, probably only two that I can think of that have left me pretty distraught. However usually…

My boyfriend has never gone back to KFC ever again after he found feathers were still attached to his food. I've never had any horrific stories, apart from finding workers hairs in my food. Of course I got a free meal after I returned it, but it makes me so very wary of going back. Why did they not think about wearing…

Thanks everyone for your advice, and everything makes a lot of sense now. :) It seems so simple now. Well I've definitely not been eating over 1g per pound of bodyweight, however since its been way over the recommendation I thought I'd check to see if I'm actually doing things right. :D I have been sticking to my calorie…

Awesome, thankyou. I've been staying within my calorie goal every single day. :)

I have a few goals. The first one is to get back to my "usual" weight before I gained quite a bit, then the second one is where my BMI would be considered "average" instead of "overweight", and the final one is my "ultimate" goal. I chose 60kg to be my ultimate goal because it sounds like a number where I'll be very…

I used to drink coke very, very often. I used to drink diet coke daily, then I got sick of it and then started drinking ordinary coke just as much. Clearly that didn't do too well for my health and weight. Since I've joined MFP I have noticed how bad it is for me and that I shouldn't really drink anything apart from…

I used to be able to fit into anything between a size 10 to a 14, now I can currently only fit into anything 14-16, and the occasional 12. I would love to be able to fit into size 10s again, to be able to fit into an 8 would be a dream.

My gym does a pretty good deal where I pay for 10 trips in advance. The fact that I spent so much money in one go makes me want to return to make all that money worth it, haha! Also I like to spend about 10 minutes at a time doing something, and I do at least six different activities to make it go up to an hour. By the…

I'm rather surprised to see so many people weigh daily, when all the advice I normally read strictly say weekly. I also weigh myself daily, I really like to remind myself at the start of the day what I'm trying to achieve, and also I like the surprise to see if I've lost anything!

I know how you feel, but I'm probably a bit young to say this since I'm 19, but I really understand this feeling. God knows what could happen if I started a family, it would probably be even worse and even more isolating. My boyfriend is my best friend and even though it's absolutely amazing to have him there, ever since…

I'm from Perth. Feel free to add me. :)

G'day from Perth. :)

Lovely to see some Aussies on here. :D

After months of not checking the scales (and trying to be in denial that I did gain some weight), I finally did and noticed I was the heaviest that I had ever been.
-
Not trying to gain weight, but trying to reach my calorie intake without going overboard on my sugars. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Thanks people. I did work all day today and I walk around a lot and I'm on my feet (as well as carrying around heavy equipment) so I might have burned something along the way, but I don't know exactly how much. I'm incredibly exhausted right now to even consider going out for a run. And since I have been under my calorie…
