  • I'm going for 125-135. I liked being that size, it suited my frame well.
  • I will be at the annual family gathering. Probably eating a bunch of stuff I shouldn't, but it's not like they put anything healthy out.

  • I still use it. Some of the bristles are falling out now, but it still works great. And it still only takes me a few minutes to brush through all my hair.
  • Yay. This is my third time around. I'm finding that eating a 'Smart Ones' meal (plus fruits/veggies) for dinners helps a lot. No need to think of portions, you just lift the plastic a bit and throw it in the microwave. I definitely have the same issue with peanuts, or anything peanut flavored. One serving of Nutter Butters…
  • I was just about to post about this! My goal is only at 70 grams right now, that's what MFP set it at, but I usually only get somewhere between 20-50 grams. >< Seafood seems to be the popular opinion in this thread, but I'm allergic. Also for milk products, and (some) nuts. Allergies seem to be my downfall.
  • Can you list which ingredients are the harmful ones? I take about 6 Allergy/Asthma medications a day, so it would be good for me to keep an eye on. :)
  • I use the Trader Joe's Organic Shampoo and Conditioner. You get a good size bottle, it's only $2, it only has a few chemicals (emulsifying agents) to hold the mixture together, and everything else is organic fruit/botanical oils. I like it a lot. I've noticed my hair doesn't fall out nearly as much anymore. Every 2 or so…
  • Mine is down past my bum. My hair was falling out like crazy with Treseme Naturals, so I decided to switch since I head the TJ brand was really good for your hair, and it doesn't fall out nearly as much anymore! I used the VO5 Clarifier once when switching to get all the chemicals out of my hair, and now I use the Trader…
  • Uggg, yes. I JUST finished eating some. I finally broke down and bought the 'Kraft Milk Bites Peanut Butter Bars' cause they looked so tasty every week. And they taste pretty crappy. Dx It tastes like super duper soggy cereal. ):
  • I don't worry about it too much. I find when I worry about it, it just makes me pig more, or just gain weight FROM the stress. So, I know I ate a TON of crap yesterday, and thus today I will accept it, work out, and eat better. And I'm not gonna fret. And if Sunday comes round and I don't loose as much as I wanted, then…
  • I just got Just Dance 3 Best Buy Edition (same price, more songs. Actually, it's $10 cheaper this week). I was borrowing it for the Wii, but I bought the Kinect one yesterday. I worked out half the time as I do with the Wii, and I was sweating twice as hard! I also got the Michael Jackson game for Kinect. But it's way…
  • They prevent all the digestive symptoms. The Veggie Slices cheeses are lactose free. They are made of soy and vegetables, not milk, they are usually on the shelf with the Vegan stuff.
  • The Galaxy Nutritional Foods Veggie Slices Provolone is awesome (and not nearly as strong as the normal stuff). Their Cheddar is okay. I wouldn't eat them by themselves or even on a cracker. But I put them in my eggs or on sandwiches and they taste pretty good. Two Quick recipes using them: Provolone: 1 egg 1 Slice…
  • I had my Thanksgiving on Sunday. I logged anyway, and I tried to not overeat. I did go over for the day, but I tried to stay within a certain amount over so it wouldn't ruin me too much. :)
  • You can try looking for a swap in your newspaper/craigslist, or even posting an ad yourself. Tell them you have x amount of garbage bags of x size clothing, and you want to swap it for some bags of x sized clothing. Usually you can get lucky and someone is going up in size while you are going down. And that way, you don't…
  • Even with a formatted disk you can still usually get it back. My Nana accidentally formatted her SD card and I used http://www.piriform.com/recuva which is completely free, and it brought every picture she had taken for the last 4 years back. Most of which she couldn't even remember she had taken anymore. Heck, my mom's…
  • Good to know MFP is right. xD I don't have a heart rate monitor, but mine comes out close to that for an hour when I log it as dancing. My mom thought it was a huge overestimation. I usually do like 40 Minutes of Just Dance 3, 30 of Michael Jackson and 10-20 Just Dance 2 per session. Then it feels like a variety more.
  • I enjoy whole grain popcorn. The kind you would use with an air popper. And then I put a tiny bit of salt and yogurt butter on it, and it tastes awesome. And not too bad for the amount you can eat.
  • Try the Taste of Home Comfort Food Diet Cookbook. It is ALL delicious comfort food, and they separate out sections by the amount of calories. IE: Under 250, 251-350, 351-450, etc. so you can pick just from what section you can allow for. :)
  • I agree with quietlywinning. I flunked every class my first two years of High School because they would only teach one style of learning. Which wasn't mine. And they made it very difficult to get the information another way. Once I went into home school and was given the information in the proper format, I got straight…
  • Cereal. Depending on what type you get, you could get one that has 100-120 calories in a cup. Then just throw a bit of dried fruit or something in it to add some more flavor. Cinnamon Cheerios are 110 Calories per cup. :)
  • I went to a park with my boyfriend to climb the stuff and I just logged at as walking at a normal pace for half the time. Then you still log something, but you aren't giving yourself more exercise then you actually did.
  • Iono. They've done numerous tests on her, and the doctor says she shows no signs at all of having it now.
  • My mom had type 2 diabetes. She just started dieting and exercising, lost some weight and now she doesn't even have it anymore. She eats almost exclusive whole foods. If it has any chemicals or is too processed, she doesn't eat it. :)
  • Oh man. I'm sure you burn plenty. There's days where I was dripping with sweat from all the stuff I do. You can put it as light cleaning or something like that that isn't likely to take too much off, but still work towards your exercise goals a bit.
  • Oooh, I'm going to have to try those!
  • My boyfriend does that. If you look at my log you can tell which days I went to his house because they are filled with Lucky Charms and McDonalds. xD If there are some snacks he just wont give up, go to a thrift store and buy a small cabinet. Put a lock on it and give him the only key. The thought of stealing the key would…
  • It's okay. I just tried to do Zumba. xD It was quite a long workout and my legs felt like they were going to fall off after 5 minutes! I managed to push through it, but I doubt I burned as many calories as I could have. You'll get better though. Start at 12 minutes for the next couple of days. Then go up 1 minute every day…
  • Join a gym or buy a punching bag. Then channel all your frustration into a 20-30 minute punching session. It'll get some of the bad feelings out, and you'll be working out while your doing it. :)
